Just loved it. So friendly. It was warm and sunny we sat outside with the dog.Vegetarian options: I hade vegetable lasagne. Big portion and delishousParking: We parked on the street because we weren't sure if there was a carpark. But there is a large carpark right outside

Slow cooked beef was generous and tender, sweet carrots, plenty of gravy. We only meant to have a sandwich and enjoy a craft fair! The light was clear over the water making somebody think my photo was a painting.

Well worth a visit when in Shotley Gate watching the cargo ships load up in Felixstowe or when waiting for the ferry boat to Harwich. Friendly bar staff and well priced no nonsense food. They also do accommodation but have not tried that yet.

We have eaten at the Shipwreck a few times now. it has a really good outdore eating area where you can watch all manner of boats, our food has always been good, service is good and the staff are polite and friendly.

Good unpretentious pub food. Scampi nice and crispy without being greasy and the fish batter was praised by my wife and daughter as nice and light.

Not sure if this has changed hands or what but last year we came quite a few times and the fish and chips was good. Popped in for a light lunch with the motorbike group but the most underwhelming sandwich ever. Dry cheap bread and the thinnest slice of cheese imaginable. For £7 for a bit of bread and a tiny bit of cheese. A Tesco meal deal would have been far far better. You really need to try harder. We won't be back sadly as the food is very sub par. Staff were good and bubbly as ever but that sandwich was embarrassing two vending machine drinks and two woeful sandwichs for £23 is not on. We regularly go to the blue egg in GT bardfield and for very little cost more it's a world away and que out the door.Seeing as the place denies my review is from them and can't even be honest I will upload a copy of the debit taken from my bank. Why it's called shotley marina I don't know? Maybe something else afoot. I can assure you can see the tables under the plates are the same tables in other photos of the same place these are the tables right outside the door. You don't sell sliced cheese? What is those two thin bits of white substance on the bread attempt then? It was purchased as brie so if it is not then that's another lie too.

I must say while the main course was excellent, we were disappointed that they don't do a sweet menu anymore. We were offered some cake or biscuits, but not the same as a good pud to finish off with. We have been familiar with the Shipwreck for many years as we had our boat in the Marina, so spent many a penny in the pub with other boat owners. It's changed hands a few times over the years, but I'm glad to say the food is still very tasty.

Good food. Nice spacious pub with plenty of room to eat, even with a large party. Nice if you like boats and ideal for the foot ferry to Felixstowe and Harwich. Will definitely visit again.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy, level floor access. Wide doors. Plenty of wheelchair room at most tables

This place was a good place to visit with friends and family. The food was full of flavour but a bit too oily for me.The staff were very busy and did well with the service, but to get what was requested was a little slow. The area and the restaurant were great. Good relaxing atmosphere. I would revisit.
