We had a party of 12 for a birthday yesterday. Staff and service were great. Food we had was lovely. Only negative we had was the non gluten containing menu. We were told it’s not a gluten free menu it just has non gluten containing foods. We wanted a sandwich which was showing on menu but apparently it’s not on gluten free bread. Other than that we had no problems. The New Manager was so attentive.

My son took me out for a meal and the food was good, however, their new parking system registration was down, and we were told by a staff member that we would receive a letter and would either need to bring the letter in or call up, so that we are not fined. In my opinion, this is totally unacceptable as I just wanted to go our and enjoy a meal with my son; I did not want or need the thought of waiting to receive an enforcement letter in the post, and have to deal with this at a later date. Their systems were down, that is not the customers fault or problem to have to deal with. A staff member that explained this, was not very apologetic or helpful, and we left feeling annoyed and frustrated rather than having the good time we had planned. Not too happy about this, will not be returning for that reason. To stress once again, the food was good and was exceptional value, but there was a bitter taste left about the parking situation.

Party of 8 adults 3 children, celebrating a birthday ...food was good pub grub everuone was more then satisfied.Fantastic that they were consistent when bring food out as everyones food came out together and tables were cleared of finished dishes very quickly too, staff made us feel really welcome.we had table service from a lovely young man whos appearance was clean & he was very well presented in uniform, he had a laugh and joke with us engaging in conversation too.As for the young lady her table service/manor was poor, she came across as very rude, from a customers prospective, as an employee handeling food idealy her long hair should have been tied back and a uniform should have been worn just like the young man was wearing.They overall atmosphere was lovely, they even allowed us to take birthday balloons & brough out the birthday cake at they end of our meal, thankyou having us all.

Decided to go for a nice meal with the partner, unfortunately will not be returning.We ordered on the app.Drinks and starters came out which were lovely. Mains then came out before starters had been cleared. Wasn’t told we had to get our own cutlery/sauces. I had ordered the rump steak. Cut into my steak which I asked for medium rare and it was blue/rare. Had no check backs, there was no staff on the floor, so had to go up to the bar and ask for it to be cooked for longer. Unfortunately it came back out the same. Could hardly cut into it, a lot of gristle. My partner had the Smokey jack burger, which unfortunately wasn’t all that either. Burger patty itself had no flavour, bun was soggy from the amount of sauce they had smothered on and the cheese was hard from where it had clearly been sat under the heat lamp for a bit.Staff were lovely and took off one of the meals for us and apologised. But unfortunately will not be returning after this.

Friendly staff, but the food is shockingly bad. A medium steak came out burnt, no hint of pink, tough and would’ve been better used to resole a shoe. Texture of freezer burn suggests it was old and came out the freezer.Half roast chicken tasted of metal and unpleasant.Half the chicken wings had congealed sauce on them as if they’d sat around most of the day under a heat lamp and others were still chilled in the middle and had to be spat out in fear of still being raw.Had anyone come to check how our food was we’d have sent most of it back.This place makes any Wetherspoons like a Michelin 3 star restaurant.Three of us have come home and are eating mints to try and get rid of the taste of our meal.Update from the morning after. The three of us that ate some of the chilled congealed chicken wings have been unwell late last night and overnight with diarrhoea and sickness. It’s the only food we all had that was the same. The two who didn’t eat any of the wings are ok. Can but presume it was the food that’s made us unwell.

It's a nice place, decent prices I had a few drinks and chips, played darts, played pool. All good but let down by some idiot looking for a fight. Get him barred. Sort that out and I'll come back as it's actually a pretty good place to relax.(*Thanks for the reply - I'll be back)?
