Great location, nice friendly staff, even better food. One down side which is new was we were a party of 10 and apparently they only can take order's for 8 or less, so we had to split the order. The reason we go to Milsons is it's a big place designed for lots of people and it was an anniversary lunch which felt like two different groups?

Stayed after our wedding in April, was nice.Visited again yesterday for dinner and although food was nice, service was very slow and poor. Would understand if they were busy/understaffed, however lots of standing around evident. Waited 40min for main, had to ask for plates to be taken from the table after about 20min of last person finished. Disappointing

Awful service. A dead fly in one of the beers. No apology at all! The young girl at the bar seemed annoyed that we were asking for replacement beer. Dirty tables and decor is naf and outdated. Overpriced and terrible service. Little to no imaginative options for vegetarians/vegans. Would not recommend.

I’m local but it has always been my special go to place since I moved here. Just love it, the feel, the food and beautiful surroundings too. Treat yourself, you deserve it x

Beautiful location. Excellent ambience. Great service, really attentive without being overbearing.Food was superb. Crispy whitebait with garlic mayonnaise was delicious. The whole Burrata was delicate and tasty. Chicken Rossini was remarkable and the creme brulee for pud was at least as good as the best we have had in France. An excellent lunch. We will return.

Beautiful venue and grounds. We stayed in the standard room which comes with breakfast. Lovely food! Would definitely come back but visit the spa too ?

We visited Milsoms for lunch. I have been to Milsoms many times and have had nothing but absolutely excellent meals at Milsoms, however today this was sadly not the case. We waited for our food for half an hour, which is not the end of the world, but when the food finally arrived it was incredibly disappointing and noticably not anywhere near the usual high standards. The gnocchi dish genuinely had no flavour other than the mounds of parsley on top of the dish and the ‘gnocchi’ tasted of nothing. It was so bad that I was going to complain (something I have never ever done anywhere before) but didn’t want to embarrass the people in our group. Hopefully this was just a blip. Come on Milsoms at Kesgrave, you are so much better than this.

Lovely hotel, setting, staff, attended a all day wedding. my only issue is the price of drinks, I appreciate everything has gone up but don't push it.

Really relaxing and lovely day with attentive and helpful staff. Thanks to Nathan in Kesgrave Hall who helped with my food decision and being so accommodating in transferring our remaining credit to the spa :) Also to the staff and my masseuse Rebecca-felt so relaxed after! Amazing day- thanks!

Completely underwhelmed by afternoon tea recently attended to celebrate a friend's special birthday. Having ordered afternoon tea for 4 people, we were presented with 3 scones and 3 of each cake. After complaining more food was brought along! Two of us wanted to take cakes home but our waitress looked somewhat perplexed when we asked for two boxes. After a good 10 minutes they eventually arrived. By far not the best value. At over £23 per head we expected something startling and this certainly wasn't!

A beautiful setting with the most gorgeous grounds. We were a small group who visited for my hen do. The spa was glorious and the girls who work there very efficient and the treatments were great. The only thing I would say about the spa was that the fizz was served just minutes before our treatments (it was supposed to be served on arrival but I had to ask) meaning that we had to drink it very quickly or leave it - it certainly wasn’t the fizz reception we were expecting. The afternoon tea looked and tasted great. Our room 18 was lovely but maybe more than one toilet roll would be appreciated and robes as promised. I know that two of our ladies in room 19 had milk that was out of date (7.5.22) in their mini fridge and ants in their bathroom. The beds super comfortable and the pillows are a dream. Elemis products are a nice touch. The main restaurant - Prosecco reception was brilliant this time and the main food manager was lovely but he disappeared half way through the night and the staff that we did have (two females) knew nothing of the menu and when serving dishes didn’t know if the steak we had ordered was medium rare etc - maybe they were new in position but training is certainly recommended as I would expect staff to be fully trained on the menu, what dishes are coming out of the kitchen and clean away unused glasses. The food was just yummy (5* to the chef and his team). Breakfast was a delight too - those hash browns and black pudding … delicious. All in all a good stay but definitely not without minor faults which can all be rectified.
