“We stayed in the Bee Cabin, great value, excellent, cosy, clean and comfortable. No pillow protectors though and bedding too warm. Winter duvet in summer and fleece bed sheet and duvet cover. Would of preferred a cooler duvet and cotton bed linen but other than that it was a great little stay with the added bonus of an ensuite with a nice powerful shower.Food & drinks: Food at this pub was really good. We took advantage of the evening bar menu and had a very nice meal. Expected average but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food, all freshly made. Liked the fact in didn't come out 5 minutes after ordering, good sign that the chefs are actually cooking your meal rather than microwaving it. Good portion sizes and really nice food. We really enjoyed a very good cooked breakfast too. Really tasty, great value.”
