The cheese scone is now my all-time favourite after years of practice! Coffee is good and strong. But the best aspect is the service - Mia is an absolute honey ( I hope that this is not misogynistic)

Well I had only coffee and carrot cake but it was really good. And coffie is really tasty. I will be back and try breakfast and more so I might change my mind. For now what I can say that people working there are really nice and polite I haven't wait even 5 min for coffee and cake. The forge itself a nice piece of history and looks good inside, o and You can have a lovely walk in a park.Kid-friendliness: I believe there is a separate room for people with children with easier access and kids chairs.

Great friendly prompt service, excellent reasonably priced food and a wonderful location all tucked into a forest for lovely dry pathway walks - what could be better.

Great place we discovered. Perfect for just a coffee, or more! Local walks and playground for the kids. The cheese & onion scone with chutney and some bacon added in, with a smoothie as well, was amazing!!

as a coeliac I had a gluten free burger. was lovely, must say for gluten free there was a fair bit of choice for lunch and cake, breakfast menu was limited for choice in general but still they had rolls and baguettes. staff were really nice and helpful, I even spoke to the chef (maybe owner) about what roll the burger had, as was really nice, she was very nice and helpful. the atmosphere and surroundings are nice, only thing I would say is maybe some light music as a table was constantly talking loud and we could not relax from hearing them, but obviously this is not the restaurant fault just a distraction would of helped. very nice place and food though.Vegetarian options: there were optionsDietary restrictions: gluten free and vegan optionParking: for the whole park, think it was £3.50 a day for weekend and £2.50 weekdayKid-friendliness: kids park just next to it.Wheelchair accessibility: outside seating seem accessible

First time we have visited this cafe/walks and what a hidden gem!!! We took a gamble that I being coeliac would be fortunate to be able to eat here and were delighted that they have a seperate Allergen menu for gluten free, dairy free and vegan. Great service, polite staff and good quality food. We will certainly visit again

Perfect pit stop to refuel after the beautiful Thornham Parkrun. Gorgeous coffee and cheese scones to die for. Great service, and staff that can cope with lots of people all at the same time. Well done

Food very good . We only wanted to stop for lunch but was disappointed ? to find we had to pay £2.00 just to stop there to have something to eat .We understand we would need to pay this for the lovely walks but not just for the cafe. Maybe there could be a way of free parking for cafe customers as we would go there more often

Exceptional quality of cakes and sausage rolls very friendly staff nothing is too much trouble. When it is a busier period than normal please be patient it’s well worth the wait. I have been dropping in here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. The Forge Team well done ???
