Good food and reasonable prices. I do find that the work environment for staff here can be improved. Servers appear to be stressed and micromanaged. I hope working conditions improve here as the staff is very friendly and hardworking.

We ordered satay and prawns for starters. The satay was good, plentiful with great sauces. The prawns were fine, just a bit underwhelming. The mains were sparse and relied heavily on the quantity of rice. The worst bit was what I believe was a MSG hangover the next day. I haven’t experienced that in years. I love Thai food, let me start by saying that. This is not the best authentic Thai I have had despite the flavours being ok.Anything on the menu with tempura definitely isn't, it's thick gloopy batter and I question if the chefs even know what Tempura is(!) ? Go to the other thaii in Ely.

19th March 2022 We arrived at the Chang Chai Thai Kitchen late in the evening, about 8pm. Local Chinese, including our fav, all take away only. But Chang Chai is sit in. Mum asked, what's it like? I said similar to Chinese. We ordered, Spring rolls and Duck rolls. Delicious and big rolls. Mains of Pad Thai, Massman Curry and chicken Satay. Superb food all round, so much so, we went back on the Saturday.

I have eaten Thai food in Thailand and other places in the uk, this wasnt the best. The softshell crab was overcooked, the food had no flavour. It was also massively over priced i may be a little harsh giving 1 star, if it wasnt so expensive, i would have given 2 thai food is bursting with flavour, sadly this wasnt even close
