Horrendous...kids chicken strips burnt beyond belief, my kebab was so awful I couldn't eat it at all. Waiting staff were lovely (young lady with long dark hair and a lady with short hair) but the manager was not helpful at all, no discount or money off the bill...half-hearted offered discount next time we came in but it was so awful I said there wouldn't be a next time. So sad as the last time we went in here the food was OK, nothing brilliant but edible...staff mostly lovely but perhaps new chef and management could have some customer skills enhancement. Disappointed ?

Came in for dinner on a Monday and they have got no chicken at all, no fish , no baguettes and no scampi what a way to run a business. Walked out and left and went else where for dinner. Was a good pub but this has happened several times we have visited. The response from the owner is not good as there is no sorry or apologising for lack of menu. It seems as they are not really bothered about the business as they should ensure that they do have supplies . Maybe they don’t need the paying customers?

Have been coming here for a while and never had anything to moan about , had a meal today and was rather disappointed, our starters came before our drinks , had to ask where our drinks was , had 2 diet cokes both drinks was flat, noticed it seemed to be short staffed today with only one person bringing out food and drinks , had to wait quite some time for mains , ordered two sizzlers they did not come out sizzling infact both meals was stone cold, it was like the food had been sat out for while so when it came to eating it you can imagine it did not taste great ended up leaving with out barely touching our main food , had to go elsewhere due to still being hungry. Also seemed to be a major fly problem even though we was sat inside.

Well it couldn’t get any slower, waited nearly 10 minutes to get served at the bar, only two people in front of me, but staff messed both orders up and when I ordered one pint of Carling, I was given Carlsberg before I could say anything I was told “we don’t have any Carling that will have to do”, but it was showing available on the App, it would have been nice to be asked if I was okay with Carlsberg, it’s the first time in my life that I’ve been told what I’m drinking, surely the customer decides? I order a chicken breast kebab meal, I was just about to ask for my money back when it arrived 50 minutes after ordering, which was strange as the pub was less than half full. The chips were lovely, but chicken was awful and cold, I could be wrong but the texture seemed like process chicken. I went to the toilet before leaving they were filthy and not just today’s dirt, there was a sign saying report any issues which I was going to do but couldn’t get the attention of staff behind the bar, so just walked out. This place needs a completely renovating seats, tables dirty, first and last visit.

Very expensive..£4.40 for a pint of Stella, which is a rip off because Stella used to be 5.2% abv but now they have dropped it to 4.8% but the price hasn't reflected this at all.It's another little scam that the brewery's have managed to get away with as not many folks now.You used to get a decent strength drink with Stella but now it's down there with the likes of dishwater fosters or Carling muck .

The kitchen was closed 19.30 on Friday. We have been told that they are not taking orders anymore. We parked our car 19.34 and my partner went to order straight there. Unfortunately, they have refused to take his order. In addition, I went to ask again at 8 but I have been told same thing. Excuse me, but you saying that we still have taken orders, is not true.

Popped in for a drink. Only 1 person serving and pouring coffee for the guests. Took 15 mins to get a drink. Second time at the bar the same happened. 3rd time I was the only person at the bar but no staff were there. Waited 5 mins before walking out.

As a "Hungry Horse" pub the food is good and consistent, it is very much a family place, parking is easy (if not too busy), nice friendly atmosphere, and pleasant staff and good service,. Nice for a relaxing lunch

This place is an absolute joke. Most days they don't serve food and when they do it's often not edible. The place is often untidy and filthy and in need of a total refurb also customer service is appalling. Despite living in walking distance we now visit a sister pub in Thetford where everything is 100% and customer service is 5 stars.

Changing to a one star because the last 2 times we have gone the kitchen has been closed. First time was at about 8pm yet their closing time says 11pm and the second time was at 4:40pm and they said their chef was on break for the next 40 minutes. So I guess randomly throughout the day, even though they are marked as open, they won't have coverage. So either they need to update their hours to be closed during the chefs break time or hire more people. Wasted trip.Fun little place to eat. Food was quick and staff was friendly. My only complaint is the food was super bland. It was as though it didn't have any seasoning at all. It looked good though.

Usually good cheap pub grub but lately no food service at all or minimum service bookings only. Need to sort it out as a place with limited food quality should at least be able to get the food out for people to eat

We came here because my husband liked another place from the same chain. We were told they didn’t have any of the burgers available, so he went for the one where you get 4 or 5 small burgers, but ordered without the cheese. They brought my scampi over (without the tartar sauce or the offer for any others), and explained that they were having to redo my husbands order because they had put cheese in it after all. It took just as long for it to come, so I’d already finished mine. Also I’d asked for mayo, and they told me they didn’t have any mayo (which is weird for a pub), but my husbands burgers had mayo in them, so clearly they did. The food wasn’t great either, so won’t be returning

Waited 25mins for 1 plate to arrive (only 2 of us eating and only 3 tables in use throughout restaurant), another 15mins passed before the second plate arrived.No apology, never asked for sauces.My wife asked for mayo to be told they don’t do mayo.15mins later my burger arrived, with mayo inside!Chips were okay, avoid the beef burger or better yet go somewhere else.

Filthy place sticky seats very sticky tables which is not good with the virus aroundBe aware the steaks advertised as 12 oz are only about 8oz and 8 oz about 6ish so if your hungry bare that in mindAs for the food and how it’s cooked not bad
