We've been going to Curry Inn for about ten years now. They've always been good, really good. No idea what's happened but the cooking has gone to the next level up, maybe three levels up. Beautifully seasoned and spices curries, poppadoms that are light, crispy and without a sign of grease, layered crisp paratha.So. Gods. Damned. Good!

The worst curry we have ever had… I have never had a curry (and we have had a few in our time!) that had zero flavour. Both our meals literally tasted of nothing… even the red wine was terrible. To be fair the staff were pretty good when I said we wasn’t happy, and wouldn’t pay the full amount- however first response was “we are busy tonight”.Having walked out after a few mouthfuls of our mains, a trip to McDonalds! Disappointing.

My choice of chicken nimbura was a little disappointing. The chicken itself was tender and juicy, but the sauce was somewhat bland. In fact, I could barely tell the difference between my chicken nimbura and my father's lamb aloo gaust. The lemon rice was simply pilau rice with grated lemon peel on top, which wasn't really pleasant. Great service and a lovely setting, though.

Feb 2025This is my favourite Indian restaurant. Have been coming here since it was just a takeaway with my dining in. Always high quality food. Always great friendly service. Came for a cheeky Tuesday curry with my eldest son. Will be back again.

Met up with a friend for dinner and had a veggie thali, which I could not finish as I have digestive issues. The restaurant would not let me take the rest of my food home, not sure why as they do takeaways, I'd even had signed a disclaimer. What a waste. Anyway, service good for the most part but the air con finally got too much and we left as it was getting so cold.

One of the best Indians I've ever had!

I had the Ceylon as I do at least once a week and it was top notch, as others have mentioned it’s all a touch pricey for what it is. It’s lovely though. Great timings (you aren’t gonna wait an eternity for some food)Parking: Parking at the train station or outside of the curry inn it’s self

Always our “goto” Indian restaurant. The staff are amazing friendly and we are always made to feel highly welcome.Highly recommended even against a newer opened Indian not too far away

The menu is fantastic with many dishes I've never heard of. I like hot food and the Currys come perfect without drowning out the flavours with heat. Plenty of space around your table and the staff are knowledgeable, polite and great at what they do. Best curry house in the area.

First of all, Mango chutney was good however they charged £7 for the chutneys and normally it is complementary. They came with Papadoms and were a bit oily. The Indian music could be better- more traditional , also tue music playing was only 70% indian. We were the only indians at tue resturant and the second we walked in, they changed the music from english, to indian. The Water didnt come wity ice- i think it you wanted some you would have to ask.The Hand sanitizer bottle at table was broken. It was very sticky. The  Service was not fast. It was taking a lot of time.We chose the buffet for our main meal. There were limited vegetarian options and a lot of chicken options-as most of our family is vegetarian, there was only rice and 1-2 currys. The chicken(not curry) was ALRIGHT. There could be a bit more flavour but overaal a 7/10. The chicken pakora is good. Good ratio of chicken to pakora. The salad consists of shredded lettuce, carrots and slices of tomatos and cucumbers and lemons. No salt or pepper. The mixed veg curry was nice. It was the right temperature. The chicken curry on the left was okay spicy. I cannot handle spice and it was alright. The curry on the right was mid. There wasn't anything wrong with it but it didn't give that  authentic indian taste. In conclusion, the resturant was alright for a local resturant. The dish i would advise to eat (as a vegetarian) would be the mixed veg curry. For a non-vegetairian i would reccomend the grilled-red coloured chicken. For improvement the resturant can include more vegetarian options and focus on the authentic indian taste that you would get in india.

Good prices food, and there is no way I could praise the staff any higher. The know the menu inside, even the allergens. ( if you tell them what your reqs are) even pointing out whilst ordering 'that dish has egg' for allergy reasons.Absolutely wonderful. If you don't go you are missing out.The food is equally, if not better, than the service.

Great tasty fresh curry friendly authentic environment. Edit Oct 2023 Expect to pay at least 25 pounds per person. The pic I posted was around 75 pounds in total including 3 large cokes.
