Good selection of food, however a limited options for vegetarians so we asked what else the chef could do and they made us a meal not on the menu.Lovely little pub, would recommend if visiting Orfors. Price for drinks much cheaper than one of the others as well!#######2019- Went for a birthday meal, really nice food. Good prices and staff are nice.

As others have commented, the Jolly Sailors is steeped in history and has so much character. We only had a light meal (not anything shown below) but the quality was excellent, as was the service. we stayed overnight and the room was relatively large, as was the bathroom, and the bed very comfortable. The Adnams Broadside was very well kept and superior to the pint we had at lunchtime.Parking: Our only slight niggle was the parking, there is no longer a car park for the hotel but we had no problem parking on the road. The car park opposite is run by the locals and the arrangements are to say the least, amateurish. They haven't yet cottoned on that a car park should have start and finish times, something of an issue if staying overnight.

It's been some time since I visited here, but when I did, it was the best homemade meal I'd had in any restaurant/pub. It was a freshly made vegetarian burger, in rustic bun, with chips, salad and coleslaw. The meal covered every inch of the plate, made better by the classic farmhouse table it sat on. The perfect stop for a drink or lunch after a scenic walk.

Emma and team looked after us so well and the food, wine, hospitality and this delightful English pub are worth returning to again and again.
