“Party of 8 of us for Sunday lunch. Thank heavens that we had booked a table. We got there just before our booking at 12.30pm to find that it was already very busy. We were greeted in a very friendly and professional manner by the waitress. We were not rushed for our food order but placed a drinks order whilst looking at the menu. I had a pint of Adnams Ghostship which was excellent. The food was excellent and we were not pestered by the staff but they were obviously checking on our progress. Overall it was a lovely lunchtime just a few minutes walk from where we were staying. Would definitely return if in the area.”
