The Pelican's in an industrial estate, but don't let that put you off. It is right on the river with a seated terrace. We Sat inside as it was a chilly Autumn day. Close to Addlestone, so convenient for what we were doing that day. Convivial atmosphere, good music (not too loud), drinks were fine. A friend's burger looked good. Not much parking, may need to park on the road (free).

This would be a lovely place in the summer to sit outside and watch the house boats on the canal. Pleasant location to have a coffee or a drink. We had Sunday lunch very disappointing due to poor service. The bar staff argued with us over our drinks order. Plus we were overcharged for our drinks. Which was reluctantly repaid to us.

Went to try a Sunday roast. We had the lamb. It was delicious. Sat outside right by the river. Free parking too.

Dont be deceived by the location being on an industrial estate. The beer garden looks out over the river. The food was lovely and freshly cooked even without a booking it came out it a reasonable time and was at an acceptable priceService was friendly but could do with using the whole bar and not just the small section at the endA small park for the children it is a climbing frame, not swing or slide
