Don't buy a Cornish Pasty from the bakers. Got it home and heated it up in the oven and it was awful. Cost £2-79 and it was the worst I have ever had. Loads of pepper to mask the taste. And it was the wrong shape. The pasties in Tesco for 52p are better.

Yet another beautiful bouquet from the guys at Longacres. Mum was over the moon with them.

A great gardening centre and afternoon out. You can explore the wide variety of plants, outdoor furniture, flowers, pet accessories and food, BBQ items and more. That's right - they've got pretty much everything. The cafe is a highlight after you've done your hard work shopping for your garden. Food is delicious and the staff are absolutely lovely.

What a lovely bright garden centre. So much choice of Christmas paraphernalia! There's a lot of other departments here too. Clothes, toys, kitchen goods, food, candles etc and that's before you even look at the outdoor plant selection. A wide range of goodies are available in the cafe too. One word of warning - this is a very popular venue. We went on a Tuesday at 11 o'clock and struggled to find a parking space in the massive carpark. We had to queue for a table in the cafe at 12.15 but it was worth the wait.

Calling this place just a garden centre is doing it an injustice, it's huge and contains just about everything you need. There's a large outdoor area for shrubs, plants & ornaments. Inside contains the usual gardening products, a substantial food hall and a fantastic butchers. The farm shop has a great range of fresh produce and there is a large café. Various other businesses have permanent small kiosks outside. Despite the massive car park it gets incredibly busy, I would suggest coming mid week and avoid lunchtime otherwise you may be struggling to find a decent parking space (car door denting seems to be an Olympic sport here)

My favourite garden centre at Christmas. This year there didn't seem to be as many Christmas decorations as other years, and like everything prices have gone up.One tree decoration I purchased 2 years ago has gone up by £3 !!So luckily I didn't need any more decs this year.Still managed to spend a small fortune, I mean who doesn't with such lovely items to choose from and great food.

Large garden centre & department store. Look out for their Halloween activities - this year was a 4D cinema experience.
