I finally got a chance to check out Roost today after passing by several times. I am so grateful to find a dedicated gluten free cafe as there are few options available locally. Some places may offer gluten free ingredients but there is always a fear of a mistake or cross-contamination. The peace of mind when ordering here is the most positive dining out experience I can recall since the problem was diagnosed a couple of years ago.The breakfast menu is available all day and there are a number of sharing platters for brunch and lots of other sweet and savoury dishes to try. The drinks menu was diverse and I was tempted by the Mint Matcha latte (very good!) The prices were well within the standard range and compete favourably with the usual coffee shop chains. It was refreshing to know that Roost is an independent company and they clearly care about their ingredients and their staff. The shop was very clean, cosy and tastefully designed. I liked the nice little touches such as the box of ‘wobble wedges’ to correct any wonky tables, and a selection of books and magazines to look at.It was busy yet still felt restful. I found a table with a window seat and the service was great.Easily the best breakfast I’ve had in ages. I hope to get back here again soon to try out the cakes or a waffle, or maybe both :-)Dietary restrictions: 100% gluten-free, range of dairy free milks available.Parking: There’s quite a few street parking spaces - check for timings as some are 30 mins but others are 2 hours. There is also a free (one hour) or paid parking for more than one hour across the road behind the Co-op.

Lovely calm gluten free cafe, quite small inside but plenty of seating. Food available both cooked in the cafe and frozen to take home. Lovely waffles, very fluffy and tasty! My only qualm would be the staff we're having a slightly inappropriate conversation about bodily functions within earshot of the tables where people were eating ?Vegetarian options: You can ask to take meat off of anything but the charge is the same. They gave me an extra egg instead.Dietary restrictions: 100% gluten free, dairy free options, adaptable menu, allergens clearly listed on menu

100% gluten free heaven. Will be back next time I visit my brother and I will make sure I'm hungry.

Tried the taco salad for the first time as I saw someone else having it and it looked amazing. It was delicious. The tropical smoothie is also very good, I often have it when I visit Roost. The service was prompt and it was quiet when we went (late Tuesday lunchtime), less than half full. It's not cheap but it's good quality and worth the extra cost.Dietary restrictions: Menu is all gluten free and refined sugar free. There are dairy free options for drinks.

Lovely place to get a coffee. Friendly staff with good service. Nice to support a local business, too.

Nice place but rather slow service when not busy. Eggs (meant to be poached but were hard) with avo came with enough avo for 2 slices of toast which would make it much better value. Ordered a round of toast and after 10mins politely asked if it was on its way, only to be told the slip hadn't been taken through to the cooking area! Even then it took another 10mins to get the toast and no apology. Unfortunately we won't be going back.

Hidden gem in Bagshot. Dropped in for a quick breakfast. Super healthy menu. I had the bbq beans on toast with poached egg and spinach. Really delicious. I will be back.

Love the décor, coffee was great and food was just incredible.I had poached eggs on toast plus bacon and avocado along with a flat white. The poached eggs were nicely presented with a ring of pesto and topped with pea shoots.

Ordered a chicken wrap and veggie wrap. Feel like we should have been given some pre-warning that the wrap is not what you would expect. It was soggy and almost fleshy. Decided to ditch the wrap to try and just eat the filling at which point we established the the sweet potato pakoras were dense and dry. Gave up on it altogether. The chicken was similar to the pre-packaged, pre-sliced meat you can get at the supermarket. No flavour, no texture. We filled up on the tortilla chips as they were the only edible thing there and then we just got out of there. Three hours later and both of us still feel like the food is sitting on our stomachs. We won't be back.
