“This is a super place, not a pub but more like an exclusive restaurant with good old fashioned service and with a bonus….. the staff actually smile at you !There is a full bar area but I feel most would come here to eat too.The menu is extensive and there are many excellent dishes created by the in house chef.Personally I was surprised by the level of service from the lady who appeared to be one of the senior staff, she anticipated all our questions and suggested perfect food and wines to suit our tastes.It was October and nice weather and so we sat outside and the view across the lake was stunning.I felt as though I had been whisked away to Switzerland or Austria.It was so outstanding we have booked again for Christmas lunch.I couldn’t fault this experience. Very special.Well done Kingfisher.Parking: A large car park adjacent to the restaurant however when it’s busy I’m not sure how many cars it will accommodate.As the venue isn’t easy to get too on foot I imagine everyone visits by car”

“I arrived after walking 50km through the night, broken (don’t ask). I received a very warm welcome: empathetic, attentive, but not too close. The food delivered: Eggs Benedict made with bacon (yum!). Very happy to recommend this to others!”
