I came here in January and it was beautiful so decided to come back and bring friends. However this time it was not a nice experience at all.I booked a table as I knew Sunday’s would be busy, I arrive and get told by a rude front of house male that the “table isn’t ready” so get plonked by the kitchen to sit and wait for 15 minutes to which we had to ask about our table as we got left.. why book a table if you won’t have one ready?? Lucky we weren’t in a rush to get home.We ordered drinks - all fine, then ordered our mains, again fine. However the mains came out, I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger which is supposed to come with chipotle mayo… it didn’t and neither did my friends, the chicken was also very dry and overcooked. Then I asked for truffle & parmesan fries, yet I got given a bowl of standard fries so I questioned this and they took them away only to come back and have literally just thrown parmesan on and nothing else??? At the cost of this place you’d expect better, I paid an extra £1.25 for a sprinkle of parmesan what a joke. The woman taking payment said “its asking if you want to leave a tip”, not something you’d say if you were looking for a tip but also, not one staff member had earned even a £1 tip never mind anything else.Sadly won’t be returning.. staff are shocking and food was utterly dire for what they charge!! Photo attached of my £20 burger and “truffle and parmesan fries”

We arrived early for a group meal and were allowed to the table and offered drinks. The food was really tasty and promptly delivered to the table. Nice atmosphere with quirky decorations.

Menu pricey and misleading.

Very expensive, with a poor selection for vegetarians/vegans (2 dishes; a salad and a burger, ~£15 each). Beautiful local, with fun décor if you stay inside. They only serve food outside during summer, but you can take your drink out.My meal was a shockingly overpriced bowl of spinach leaves, as they did not have the nourish bowl advertised on their website. I keep going back for the lake view, but always leave unsatisfied.Highly recommended if you don't have dietary needs and can afford the premium.Vegetarian options: A plain cesar salad with an extra £3 for haloumi, or a vegan burger. There are also one or two starters and a sharer.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp up to the door, but portions of the interior are limited by stairs.

Food below average. Pudding inedible. A shame because it's a lovely place with a great view lVegetarian options: Not many veggie options

Spent over £100 on food and came out starving!! I ordered the largest sized lasagne, and out came a miniscule excuse of a dish. They could have served it on a spoon. My kids' orders were wrong and the waitress came accross very cold. I'm disappointed!

Food was nice , one of our meals was sent back to cook the pork a bit more but overall we all enjoyed our meal. Found the restaurant a bit on the cool side .

Booked a table for 11 people including 4 under 5 for a birthday celebration. Booking was for 3.30pm. Arrived 10 mins early but didn't get a table until just before 4pm. Food wasn't served until 4.45 by which time the children were not happy and we had to resort to giving them crisps.Food was OK but roast menu mainly sold out which was very disappointing. We had to leave without a desert because the youngsters were now tired and irritable.Overall sadly not the best experience.

Great atmosphere and very clean. Great atmosphere and nice and warm for the cold weather. The outside looks like it will be amazing in the summer. My only criticism would be that the sizes seemed a little small on the main meal but it was a good food none the less.Parking: Stone and dirt. Can flood a little and no defined spaces so some times the spaces can seem less but there is an overflow car park as wellWheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp going down to disabled bay.

Lovely location, great family place. The server was extremely friendly. I thought the food was nice quality for the price point.

We went for Sunday lunch but unfortunately they had problems with their gas supply which meant a lot of the food on the menu wasn't available. The menu was therefore limited but in fact what we had was very good. The service was excellent as was the atmosphere. Always an enjoyable dining experience here.
