Went for dinner tonight, very sticky table and slippery wet floor under our table. Nasty mould around the window frame with wonky blinds. Food was overpriced and average. Lame salad bar. Our puddings took about half an hour to arrive and didnt all come out at the same time. No music or soft background noise, all we could hear were screaming children. The whole place needs to be renovated. Polite staff though.

I came here today and was greeted very warmly, service was amazing and food came fast, they had refills on their drinks and a free salad bar with bread, it’s the perfect place to go if your looking for a friendly place to eat, it has a sensation of flavour and was very filling, I would definitely go again.

This restaurant was excellent. The service was great the food was cheap and yet amazing in quality. I had a 10oz steak which cost less than any 8oz steak I’ve had anywhere else and yet tasted amazing with beef dripping gravy and bbq ribs. The waiters were very hospitable for my families needs and preferences. The food had come in about five minutes (I am assuming this is because lots of people were back at school but I feel like a maximum wait time would be about ten minutes). My sister had a burger which she doesn’t have often and said it was amazing. It truly was a wonderful experience and a great lunch out!

Great service and food, what you expect of a Harvester. BUT the building is in urgent need of repair, unlike for example Ham Farm, Eastleigh. At the time of our visit, all toilets were blocked and shouldn't have been open. Unneeded pressure on the hardworking staff who couldn't have done more for us. Wake up Mitchell & Butler. WELL DONE STAFF.

We visited here on Christmas Eve as it is always so good saying we were disappointed is an understatement. To start the refillable drinks machine wasn’t working properly - no tango of pepsi max we told someone about it but didn’t make a difference. The butter for the rolls had gone off and squirted all over the salad bowl so had to get a new one. The rolls were very dry. Not what they used to be.The original combo was great, throughly enjoyed that. However, the festive burger was only luke warm and some parts were not even cooked!!! So needless to say we did not eat all of this. The simply chicken is just not value for money, it used to be £9.99 it certainly ain’t worth £12.99 for a small piece of chicken, peas, chips and gravy. We also had the festive ribs, well these were the worst ribs we had ever had here. They were chewy and fatty. This is the second time we have visited and have not been satisfied with the food.Safe to say we won’t be returning anytime soon!

Booked a Christmas meal which was superb. Had a warm welcome from Dominic when we arrived and the rest of the staff were so helpful and friendly. The food came out quickly between courses but not rushed. Food was hot well cooked and very tasty. Would certainly recommend this venue to anyone that wants good food at a competitive

Went for Christmas Dinner. All staff members were welcoming and pleasant. The meal was well cooked and tasty, but the portions were small given we paid £60 per head.

We decided to eat out for Christmas dinner the atmosphere in the kings head was good very festive the staff were very professional and helpful. The food on the festive menu sounded nice and there was a variety to chose from . The starters were were nice especially the soup .For our main course we’re had the stake and rib combo and the traditional turkey and trimmings I felt that the portion size was small myself I had tiny Brussels sprouts with a few peas and tiny and not enough parsnipsOne pig in blanket and hardly any Turkey I actually had to ask for some more turkey. I think the potatoes, parsnips and veg were frozenBut it did taste ok .The apple pie and rulard desert was nice and good size however the Christmas pudding portion was a joke again I asked for more Which they had no problem with . Overall I think for a penny of £60 a head I expected a little more .Our waitresses Michelle was amazing so helpful and friendly for me she maid the experience there she deserves a medal.

Visited on Christmas eve for breakfast with Santa. We were seated very quickly, orders taken and food came out promptly. The breakfast was very good and enjoyed by all, refillable coffee very nice. Santa was very engaging and good at making conversation with shy children! The service was very good, all staff very friendly and welcoming, lots stopped to chat to the children about their Christmas lists! Would definitely recommend to families with young children, we have been to several Santa breakfasts in the local area over the years and found this one to be the best by far.

Came this morning for breakfast with Santa and was not disappointed. The staff were lovely and working so hard to make it special. Santa was able to spend a decent amount of time with the kids and the food was good. Will definitely do this again next year

We couldn't get the salad bowels but lady took long to take our order. We finally got the salad bowels then food come out straight away. We couldn't eat all the salad as didn't want the hot food to go cold, we would have like some time to eat the salad before the main course had come. The bread was hard and stale. The dirty bird burger meal tasted like all the food was from Iceland, frozen food pre cooked. It did not taste nice and extremely over priced for what is is, I won't be going to any harvester again the food quality is very poor

We were welcomed warmly by the manager. Seated at an adequate table and the staff were very attentive. Much better than our local harvester. Would highly

We visited for breakfast with Santa today and it was lovely. The food was prompt, warm and tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and so attentive with our 16 month old. Sarah served us and she was brilliant! The Santa was so friendly, coming over to greet us when we arrived and walking around to talk to all the children. One of the friendliest Santa's we've meet, there were no tears from our little one as she played peek-a-boo with Santa. Santa and Mrs Clause also looked so authentic, with lovely outfits. No cheap, rubbish santa polyester!Such good value as well, £9.99 for a children's breakfast, drink, meeting Santa in his grotto and a little goody bag to take away. The grotto area was also very cute. We'll happily make this an annual tradition with our little family.Parking: Lots of spaces, but you do have to register your number plate inside.
