A real surprise to find in what is otherwise a tired and uninviting parade that potentially serves a large local community. Great pie and chips, everything nice and warm, crusty pie pastry with a good quality filling, more than generous with the chips, clean and modern premises, friendly staff. Outside tables and chairs all undercover. A proper fish and chip shop. It’s been a long time since there was a decent place to eat in the Parade. Definitely recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking in the parade with a short distance across flat paving to the shop. No steps and easy access.

Friendly service and food served in paper bags.Very tasty, perfectly cooked cod in a nice light batter. Chips were pretty good but personally I’d have preferred them a little more cooked / crisper.Very clean, new looking shop with some outdoor seating.
I have tried giving the benefit of the doubt as it’s our local but enough sis enough. Several weeks ago we placed an order online that turned up FIVE hours later!!Last week placed an order and ordered a bottle of ketchup for £3.50 and was sent a sodding sachet!And now the portion of chips is half the size but still the same price?!That’s it. We are not going back
