Maybe I was just unlucky! Having had good experiences at the Silver Sea in Sandhurst, I thought I’d be ok to try the Frimley Green shop for the first time. Unfortunately, opening the box I was extremely disappointed to find the smallest cod I had ever seen. I won’t be trying again!

I have been to this fish and chip shop many times and as a local resident I used to be very pleased with the quality and portion size, however the last couple of times I have been extremely disappointed. The quality of the meal has deteriorated rapidly. The chips are often scrapped and there doesn’t seem to be any managerial presence in the shop

I’m gonna be very honest! This place is the best fish and chips in the area but unfortunately what lets them down is there portion sizes. Most people I’m sure will agree that when you go to the chippy you always get given more chips than you could possibly eat right? Well for me and most people that’s the only thing that makes the cost of fish and chips feel worth it nowadays! When you pay £3.50 for a large chips you expect to get a large chips (a portion that fills the box full). It’s already quite an expensive fish and chip shop so it would just be nice to walk out of there feeling satisfied that you’re getting your moneys worth every time. I’m a chef and hospitality manager so I understand why the portion sizes may be so but I just don’t think it’s worth the unsatisfied customers. Hope they change this soon because if they do this place will be top stars with me and many others returning more frequently

Headed in today with a young Deafblind man I support, the staff on today were amazing!! They waited for him to reply to the questions, the food was amazing and they even made the effort to put the meals in separate boxes and make sure that they signed Thank you to him on our way out! Lovely place and the best food I’ve had in a while, perfect!!

Ordered large jumbo sausage, 3 cod and large chips... - Sausage was only ok thing - Fish, only comes in one size and its over £7 and its pretty small, was dripping with oil and had no flavour - Chips - ordered a large and it was a tiny portion, not worth £3.50 Very slow service too. Won't be going back.
