I have enjoyed most times going to this shop but after last night I will not return , I was eating my fish and it was undercooked and then I wake up this morning and I have just been throwing up , as the fish was undercooked , it’s put me off fish now but , this is the first time it’s happened to me , this is a good shop but just be careful

Ordered a delivery direct from the shop itself including large cod, cod bites and a spring roll with chips. The fish and roll were both extremely well cooked, not at all greasy. The fish batter was crisp and the cod itself was a generous portion, thick and meaty. The spring roll was also well cooked and delicious. Recommended as a go to for fresh fish and chips delivery, check out their website first as they have their own delivery which is better and cheaper than certain other paid for delivery services.

Been using this takeaway for about 6 years now. Very friendly, polite team. Recent staff/ownership changes have not affected the quality and infact, the previous staff/owners still contribute. I generally call 10 minutes before and come in to pay/collect but they also do delivery locally. The fish is of excellent quality and you can definitely taste the difference between Sharps and other fish & chip shops. The fish is generally thick and the batter is light, crispy and well cooked. The chips are also good quality. They also use proper onion vinegar which is always a bonus. No doubt I’ll be in there some time this week as we normally use them once every week or 10 days. When we call, they even know it’s us ? Keep up the good work guys

Been having sharps fish and chips for over a month now. Absolutely spectacular. And dosnt take that long either, (about a 10 to 20 minute wait.) As well as some very good offers. I would definitely recommend the haddock and chips.
