Very friendly and lovely staff. Good food and atmosphere. It was a bit sunny and we enjoyed the sun in the garden for a while too. Recommended!

I had one of the best burgers ever, the food was brilliant, nice people. They also had gluten free so my sister was happy.

We are regular visitors to The Harrow because of the great beer, friendly staff and quaint atmosphere. And last night we went for the tasty food too. We’ve taken several friends and family to the pub too and everyone loves it. There’s a monthly quiz too. My only criticism would be that the chairs could do with improved cushions - they’re quite uncomfortable after a while. Otherwise another lovely evening, thank you

Hadn't been here in a few years, its been taken over by new licensee, staff were rude. A friend also went recently and wasn't happy with the food, the chef apparently came out and barred them ?

Delicous food and a lovely location, right next to some woods with plenty of walking tracks, friendly staff as well.

Unusual management policy?Visit 04/12/23My wife and I visited following a shopping visit nearby. My wife's Aunt age 90 accompanied us for lunch. Ordered drinks at the table. On delivery my wife asked for a child's menu for her Aunt - (reason) Medical condition + (at 90) can only eat a child's portion of food. The waitress politely declined our request stating management policy. Under 13 years old only can order from the child's menu.Ok - but under the circumstances. My principles set in. I politely declined all the menus. My wife's Aunt is very mobile and regularly visits many food establishments with her friends. In 3 years of having the condition the option to order from a children's menu has never been a problem. We enjoyed our drinks and respectfully paid the £16.45 drinks bill (instead of an estimated £80+ lunch bill). Consequently we moved on to Warlingham resulting without any problems ordering from a child's menu. Final bill £87. Two full paying adults and a child or in our case a 90 year old lady. I would be interested in an explanation from management of The Harrow. This policy can only conclude as a business negative. I feel the management should reconsider the policy going forward as certain situations require common sense. Christmas is a time for family gatherings up to possibly 10+ - including seniors who cannot eat an adult meal anymore. Child portions should be made available for paying customers who want to eat a small meal. Many established food restaurants offer small or large portion options added to the main menu list. This could be worth a consideration going forward.I thank you in advance on this matter.

What a jem, just got back from a meal at the Harrow, and had to leave a review. The meal was fantastic. Thespecial, a pheasant pie was amazing. Was informed it would be a slight wait as cooked to order but happy to sit and enjoy the drinks (nice bottle of red and the ale was spot on)Dog friendly, always a plus for us, but felt really bad at the end of the meal. There was no option to leave a tip on the card machine, and we only had minimal cash. Our server, a young chap, had been spot on and deserved more than we left. Will be back again for sure.

I visited The Harrow with a friend after we were recommended it by another. The pub looks lovely and quaint. The bar staff were very welcoming and attentive. I ordered scampi and chips which was very tasty. I would visit The Harrow again if I’m back in the area.
