I love this pub, it’s everything I want a pub to be. It’s a Fullers pub so has decent beer and often with one or two guest beers. It dates back to the mid-1800s and is staffed by people who understand beer and bars. Some live music on the weekends but there is a full itinerary of events listed in the bar itself. Always a warm welcome with a variety of seating areas and a small free carpark at the back.My only criticism is a lack of pork scratchings but that won’t hurt my waistline or stop me going!

If you're into adorable pubs that double as a museum of quirky features, this place is your jam! The lunch? Well, let's just say it won't win any Michelin stars, but it's like that B-list actor who always delivers a decent performance. And let's not forget the real MVPs here: the beers and ales on tap. They're like the supporting actors stealing the show! Overall, a solid option for when you're thirsty and in dire need of some 'museum-grade' cuteness.Kid-friendliness: Brilliant welcome of my pint sized cutie.

On the recommendation of a very good friend, we visited the pub for Sunday Lunch. We were pleasantly surprised on just how good the Sunday Lunch actually was. A full and comprehensive Sunday roast was presented that had all that you would wish for with ample servings of roast meat and the vegetables you could wish for. The meat and vegetables were good quality and well prepared that nothing was left on our plate! Combing a reasonable price with attentive service, this is a great place to visit for Sunday Lunch. We will certainly return.

Traditional English pub in 400 year old building. Tasty vegetarian roast Sunday lunch, great value and friendly staff!Vegetarian options: The Sunday Roast had slices of Quorn which tasted very much like meat, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, red cabbage, broccoli and Yorkshire pudding all with lashings of gravy.
A great evening watching "We are open bar" perform their version of Romeo & Juliet. Excellent beer at a fair price. Well done Fullers.

Nice friendly pub. Lots of locals use the pub which gives it a really good atmosphere. Good mix of punters from workman having an evening pint to families and friends. Never had a bad experience here. Probably the best pub in Caterham.
