Had a great night 28th October......Halloween With DJ......coverage of the rugby final, great atmosphere, staff all in Fancy Dress to get into the spirit of Halloween. Really friendly staff and efficient service. Overall a really enjoyable night! Thank you.

Lived in Caterham for 7 years my first visit to the pub, very over stimulated in there, had rugby on, football on and a dj and disco with flashing lights.. I had standard lager good price only a fiver, wife had gin and tonic a single expensive. Didn't eat, couldn't hold a conversation too loud. It's okay

Unfortunately, I was disappointed! The service was painfully slow ... I finished eating and my companion was still waiting for her order. The meal we wanted wasn't available (no more BBQ chickens left and we went early in the lunch hour); I couldn't even get my cappuccino as the coffee machine was broken... So all in all it was a disappointing experience and we wished we had gone elsewhere!

Was served by Ashley I only came in for a pint, but ended up having lunch as Ashley showed me the the lunchtime offer. He was Very friendly, sincere, and even did a check back. 100% will be back!!

Pleasant pub, recommend for stopping off for a bite to eat and drink if in the area. Nice big beer garden so can get a seat in or out!

As a family, we enjoyed a relaxed and very pleasant meal at The William Garland. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was delicious. The temperature and quality of our meals was excellent, and the presentation showed that the food was prepared with care.

Ash is a breath of fresh air. Always greets with a smile. Always happy to help no matter how small the request. So nice to walk in and see someone happy to see you. He inspires positivity and is constantly cleaning and making sure everyone is happy. So happy he is here!!

Great food and service impeccable Had the katsu burger recommended by barman and other guests had the pie which was great and also had scampi all food was great and staff very helpful

Sometimes you might be lucky and get served at the bar before you die. Usually there's no barstaff behind the bar, but even if by some miracle someone's actually serving, it'll do you no good. They may actually serve the only other person ordering and then, 10 minutes later, when they've managed to finally pour the pint and accept payment, they will ignore you and wander off, never to be seen again, or start chatting to the regulars, leaving you standing there like a fool.

Glyn and his team were amazing when my sisters and I had a ‘family get together’. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent - we all had something different - as was the service. Very friendly staff. Will definitely meet up there again. Thank you from all of us !!
