Starter on the kids menu was pretty poor (obviously dried up carrot remained untouched) the bit of bread crust with tomato sauce was very pretty much as it sounds. Calamari was anemic with a powdery coating, just seemed freezer burned and also went unfinished. Adult pizzas were nice (bechamel calzone was very nice). Lemon chocolate cheesecake was also decent.Sort out your starters and open up more pizza toppings for the kids menu and would be a huge improvement.

We stopped at Zizzi’s in Hampton Court for a quick dinner after a day exploring Hampton Court. I always enjoy a visit to a Zizzi’s, and with their Zizzi Zillionaires' Club we also got 25% off the bill so what’s not to like!Service was a little slow but very friendly, so we didn’t mind – we could see they were busy and it was a hot day too. The food was good, I enjoyed sharing the Grazing Board with my husband which had salami, olives, bruschetta and more. For my main course I had the Chicken Calabrese which was nice and flavoursome – although it had a lot of potato and could have done with a few vegetables or a salad to freshen things up a bit.Overall, it’s a great shout for a tasty Italian meal with friends in a nice setting.

I had an amazing experience at Zizzi. After touring the Hampton Court Castle I ventured into Zizzi and I was greeted with the best customer service. The entire staff is so kind and welcoming, but I’d like to recognize Gregory as he went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond to help me as I tried to navigate a transportation issue. After I made it safely back to London and later the States, I still hold on to this kindness and would definitely recommend Zizzi to everyone. Thank you for a great atmosphere, coffee, and thank you Gregory!

While we were seated very quickly it took forever for them to take our order. We had two kids with us so a speedy order is fairly important.The mains were very good once we eventually got them.I asked for the desert menu and after 10 mins still no menu. We got one our selfs at the front of the restaurant.We ordered our desert and it was out of stock ? can’t win.

Well what a rude could not care less attitude of the manager. We'd had a lovely day in Hampton until we got in to the restaurant, we were asked to order online although there was only about three other occupied tables in the restaurant, we did so and paid up front. The drinks came straight away, then my daughters starter, then half an hour or so later still no mains, I asked if it was being done and was told its just going in the oven now!! We waited another 15 minutes, still no food, asked to speak with manager, her attitude was awful, did not care, apologise or even bother to come back to me, just said when asked its because we paid up front the kitchen thought the order was fulfilled, how so if we had got part of it already???? No one came to check our food was ok. Appalling, will never return £120 for bad service and attitude.One thing to say is the some of the other staff seemed very pleasant and friendly.The food that eventually came was very average aswell!

Chaotic. We have been asked if we want deserts before the mains arrive. The mains were a long wait and mistaken anyway. The manager didn't know what the food was supposed to be like. Sitting with empty plates for 20mins didn't bother anyone.For that kind of restaurant I'm disappointed.

My friends and I had a meal in Zizzi’s in Hampton Court a couple of months ago and were very happy with the standard of food, the choice of meals and quality seemed to have improved from a previous visit some time ago. However, when 4 of us visited last night we were rather disappointed. The choice of meals was still quite good and varied but the quality when we received them had definitely deteriorated. My hot smoked salmon risotto was still tasty but much less fish than before. One friend had spaghetti bolognaise which looked and tasted rather pale and bland, another had stuffed belly pork which just came with saute potatoes and was not at all impressive. The final friend had a pizza which was ok but nothing special. Our waitress was very pleasant but didn’t bring any condiments to the table, she only offered Parmesan cheese to the person having spaghetti bolognaise, so then we had to ask her for salt, pepper etc which took some time to arrive as did the the jug of water which we had asked for in the beginning along with our other drinks. We did not feel this restaurant offered good value for money and we would not be in a hurry to return, such a shame as with a few tweaks it could be so much better.
