Great service thank you

Effingham's hidden gem! I popped in for lunch for the very first time yesterday. Immediately, I was greeted with a warm welcome. I had a delicious lasagne and salad, complete with a cup of tea for a very reasonable £11. I grew up in Effingham as a boy and during the 1980s, Layla's Café used to be the village post office. I sat on the wall outside waiting for my school bus to Guildford each day! Now I know Layla's Café is there I look forward to my next visit and wish Layla many years of success in the future.

What a joyous experience I had here on Saturday morning having breakfast with friends. The lady cooking came out and chatted to us and couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Really good food at a reasonable price. I would definitely return.

Ten star in every respect. Euna/Layla's never disappoints. Best thing that ever happened to Effingham.

Having visited Polesden Lacy we stopped at Layla's for lunch after reading the good reviews, which were well deserved. We were made to feel very welcome and had a tasty lunch of freshly prepared food and good coffee. My mother-in-law was thrilled to be offered a smaller portion as she can't eat much. She says it was the small details that made our visit so good.Vegetarian options: I had a tasty homemade quiche, fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. My mother-in-law had a vegetable frittata and salad. I didn't check out anything else.

Our first visit, and definitely not our last. Fantastic breakfast, great service, clean and comfortable little cafe. The owner and waitress could not be more welcoming and despite the cafe nearly full, service was immaculate. Reasonably priced and certainly good value. We'll be back...soon.

We stayed nearby in an airbnb and ate here on our last morning. The full English was exceptional and good value. The coffee was very good. Cakes are home made which my wife enjoy. Very friendly owners who made us welcome.

We visited for a friend's birthday lunch, greeted with a warm smile from Euna, who made us very welcome. Good choice of food, jacket potatoes, cakes, etc, including Korean specialities, served quickly, soft chairs, light and airy with the fold back doors, colourful interior and chatty owner. We'll definitely be back!

I love this place beyond words. The best owners , best food , best atmosphere and we are so lucky to have this local gem. Euna always puts a smile on my face . My mum and Dad drive to come here for the bacon sarnie and the rock cakes despite living 25 mins away. Thank you for always serving us with love and a smile xxx

Absolutely outstanding! Had full english breakfast, very reasonably priced, worth every penny and more. The chef, Euna....what a beautiful character! The most friendly and welcoming young lady i have ever had the privilege to be served by (and i work in hospitality). Would highly recommended 200%. Beautiful picturesque area.
