Update: It's been 7 years since I wrote my original review and I still love the food from Thai Crystal and I'm so glad they weren't wiped out by lockdown.I only have one critique: I wish they'd let you buy extra peanut sauce when you order takeaway. It's fantastically tasty, but the tiny tub you get is gone in a few dips. I'd love to see it listed as a standalone menu item.-----------------Great place. really really-nice décor and atmosphere. perfect food and service. will definitely visit again. edit: visited again and it was just as fantastic as the first visit.

Very disappointing Beef Massaman curry. In every other Thai restaurant where I have had this dish, the beef is cubed and slow cooked so that it melts in your mouth & is really tender. The sliced pieces of beef in this dish were tough! Sauce lacking in flavour.Disappointing choice on my part.Dim sum and noodle dish lovelyPortions size for Mains are large.Extensive menu.Will not be revisiting, even if lived locally.

Do not order Thai food. Jungle curry was a joke, I had to order a different meal home after taking one bite and throwing this away. Quality of ingredients were shocking. 4.5 stars ? How? Avoid at all costs

We had a fantastic meal here last night. They were great with our 4yr old and newborn, and the food was so delicious. Pad Thai, massaman, chicken with cashew nut, satay - all so good. Be sure to book a table as it was very busy!

Been in here a couple of times now and am still impressed.We went for the set meal ‘Set Ayudhaya For 2 People’ which is £39.50 at the time of writing and you probably get enough to feed 3 women …as the 2 of us couldn’t finish it. We asked to take away the leftovers and they very kindly gave us free containers and offered to pack it for us.We really felt cared for by the staff who also manage to be non-intrusive.
