Service was terrible! Waited over an 90 minutes from our first drink until we saw the waitress again, tried on several occasions to get her attention but was an expert at avoiding tables. Family Birthday meal ruined by this experience. Told they were short staffed but still wouldn’t of expected anything this bad! Will not be back.

The service is immaculate, especially from the waitress Tillia, she’s an amazing waitress and gave us everything we asked for with no problems!! The food was delicious and the deserts to die for :)))) -Poppy, Madi, Aaliyah

Our waitress was very kind and helpful whilst serving us (10 people) . She was very young with little brown hair , she is a credit to your team ..

The meats, potatoes and gravy were all good. The spouts were tiny and rock hard and the cauliflower cool (not in a good way). The staff were pleasant enough.Although the place was not especially busy, we were shown to a 2 person table tucked away with no lighting. Fortunately we were allowed to move. But guys, those two person tables are too small. Be generous. Would it have hurt to join a pair of 2 person tables? There were three joined next to us to form a 6 person table with no one using them. Eventually a couple of people were allowed to sit there though they were no eating. It's a restaurant, right? This is the second Toby Carvery I've visited and the second that has been an underwhelming experience. Could definitely do better.

As a family of 7 we had a booking for Christmas eve @ 2pm. Restaurant was practically empty. Once seated had to wait quite a while to order drinks and starters. Was told starters would be about 6 minutes but more like 15 minutes but at that time no too worried. Food was atrocious, sprouts very small and boiled within an inch of their lives Mash potato had turned to dust (very seen anything like it) Roast potatoes massively over cooked and just everything looking like it had sat their since the night before. Service very very slow for drinks (didn't see many serving staff ?) After finishing our meals we ordered deserts - after waiting some time for them and midway tucking in we were told we had to vacate the table by 4pm for the next guests - seeing as our desserts only turned up by 3.50 it then made it a rush. Plenty of tables in the restaurant that could have been put together in our section to accommodate the next booking - space wasn't an issue- was told we would take our deserts to another table or the bar to finish !!! Due to being rushed so much we settled the bill but overlooked checking it was correct, checked when home to find we had been overcharged. Not sure when a restaurant is most possibly at 25% capacity (if even that much) why we were made to feel we were in the way. So overall, terrible food, extremely slow table service, unprofessional treatment of customers and to top it all overcharged for the pleasure !

I had booked a table a few weeks prior to our visit as I liked the look of the Christmas festive menu. But our party of 4 were a bit disappointed that some items were not available on the menu, namely the starter of prawn cocktail and the dessert of Christmas pudding was not available apparently due to supply issues.

Everything was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Our table was ready at the right time. The waitress was very helpful and made sure that all our food choices were ok for my daughter who is celiac and I am gluten intolerant. The starter came very quickly. The main was the carvery which absolutely delicious and the desert was spot on. We never really waited too long for our food or drink.Dietary restrictions: They cater for gluten free

Peaceful place to dine out, more than a suitable time waiting to firstly be served at the bar area as there were no tables for lunch available it was suggested we could eat in the bar area but there would be no option to have starters or desserts. The food we selected at the carvery was super delicious and succulent, absolutely the best roast eaten out ever. Definitely a place to revisit. Very affordable.

The people/staff were friendly lovely and helpful… sadly, I have never had to say this about Ewell toby in my experience , but the food was dry and cold. It was awful … not organised and messy. Meat was warm at most peas were crispy. Mash was solid and old. The carvery was not busy at 5pm 5 tables that I saw were being served. Don’t get me wrong, the staff were lovely. But, something has gone wrong at Ewell? I would be worried to return if I’m honest.Parking: Easy access. Plentiful

My wife and I took her elderly Mum here a few days ago and purposely booked an early lunch (11.45am) to avoid the queues which we have encountered before, but no real need as it didn’t get busy until long after we had finished our main courses. Excellent choice of meats and vegetarian options and very good value at £50 for three mains, three soft drinks and two desserts.

We have just been for Christmas Day dinner at the Toby Carvery Ewell. I would like to say that it exceeded my expectations. At the entrance we was met by a lovely member of staff who wished us Merry Christmas. We were sat down straightaway and our waitress Laura was there to take our drinks order. The food was plentiful and tasted amazing The whole experience from greeting to service to food was absolutely spot on. Thankyou for making our Christmas Day memorable.

Went for breakfast with santa. Arrived on time and the gent at the check in stand was brilliant with the kids, he was very excited and spurred the kids on with the festive feeling. They had gingerbread men shaped paper to colour in and was later placed on the wall near the bar and the little one loved that it would be on display, they also had a wish list to fill in ready to give to santa and again the guy was explaining all this to the kids and was brilliant We had our food and it didn't disappoint as always. We did have a bit of a wait for santa buuut we were the first to arrive and the were apologising. Mr santa looked veeeery convincing and his lady elf helper was also very enthusiastic and got the kids raring to go. I would defiantly recommend this to get the kids excited. We have a 4 year old and 12 year girls. 12 year old doesn't believe but it still got her in a Christmassy mood. Again all staff were happy and buzzing and the gent who checked us in looked after us.

Food was delicious, staff was rude. Especially Kathy I think her name was. I went here today and she ignored my table i was walking up to her to ask for a drink and she looked at me and walked off. didn't ask if we wanted drinks and didn't come back to check up on the food. Had to ask another staff member for our drinks as she was being rude. She finally came to pick up our plates and walked of. Sort out ur staff
