Best Fish and Chips ever. Highly recommend. I don’t buy from anywhere else.Parking: As this is a residential area there are always lots of vehicles on the street, however i we always manage to get parked.

Really lovely fish n chips, good sized portions, kind of awkward to park at busy times as in neighbourhood road but delish, will use again for sure ?

Bortherwoods is by far the best fish and chip shop around. The curry sauce tastes great too. We have family and friends come round and when we suggest fish and chips they always want brotherwoods. The team in there are always friendly and welcoming. We live in Godalming and won’t go anywhere else.

You always have to wait for your chips.... much better than having soggy, old chips, waiting for you.... Freshly cooked food and best fish n chips on Godalming
Good fish and chips with nice crispy batter, not greasy at all.Chicken nuggets were good with chunks of chicken. They serve Pukka pies.Chips were ok but nothing special.

Been going here with my son since he was a toddler, 17 years later we still come along for our chips. Can't speak on the other food as we have only been in for chips. Friendly and familiar.

I used to highly rate this plaice. But the fish and chips I picked up recently were below average. The batter was sticky and very greasy, the chips were flavourless and everything had been soaked in too much vinegar.

Cash only. Seems a bit behind the times in that way as so many places have switched to contactless. Service was fairly quick however. Chips are good. Cod was overly oily, the paper helped soak it up, but it probably needed to have the frying oil dripped off it a bit longer. Skin was more crunchy than crispy like you would get with a great batter. Flesh was a good colour and flavour, but had a slightly fibrous texture, like it was a bit dry. This could be for a variety of reasons, either fish quality or cooking technique. Don't get me wrong, this place will do you just fine, and I'd have it again in a tight spot, but don't expect to be blown away. Food: 6/10, Service: 7/10, Value for money: 5/10. Total 18/30 or 60%.

I grew up around the corner on Marshall road. Emigrated to Canada in 1975. Wonderful to know Brotherwoods is still in business. It was our "go to" before Uber eats and skip the dishes. Loved it! Good for you Brotherwoods for still being there after all these years. A testimony to good food at a great price.
