A fantastic and wonderful place to have lunch! A warm and cozy restaurant beautifully decorated and well lit. The bar staff and waitresses are friendly, welcoming and professional in their service. Our preferred go-to for a scrumptious and delicious lunch. We’ve been here a few times during the chilly months and we are now looking forward to enjoying the outdoor seating area during the imminent warmer and sunnier days. We highly recommend The Mill, Haslemere. 5 Stars! *****

Eaten here a few times, waiting staff have been excellent every visit, notably Alex who went out of her way to make our evening special. Highly recommend the curried chicken kiev and the venison steak.Have also been in for drinks with my children who were made to feel very welcome by the bar staff

Really expensive, £12 for a fish finger bap, not even fish fingers, just 3 scraps coated in batter, an extra £4 for a few chips in a tin.I won't be rushing back.

We enjoyed a superb family meal here with great food and exemplary service. The restaurant has a cozy area off to the right that is great for families or if you have a pet. The sirloin steak was one of the best prepared cuts I have enjoyed in a long while.

We enjoyed excellent lunches. The salmon burger and the fish and chips were delicious. The French fries were probably the best I have eaten. The staff were charming and the service was quick. Thank you Thank you.

Came here with friends for Sunday lunch , welcome was friendly and staff were attentive , menu has a good selection on the whole but the gluten free options were sparse either a burger or fish and chips , no gluten free roast option which was disappointing. The fish and chips was really good but not what you really feel like for Sunday lunch , the roast looked good and everyone enjoyed them. The very limited gf options would be a reason this wouldn’t be a first choice to return for us which is a shame as the food was good.

We arranged to have our family wake at The Mill. Every aspect from booking, menu choices, quality of food and service was absolutely fantastic. The Mill were superb.

Annabelle, was excellent. She didn’t use a pad to take our order. I was worried about her remembering it. She smashed it out of the park. Super attentive and knowledgeable. We felt really looked after.

We had Christmas dinner here today and unfortunately I wish we hadn't.Upon booking, we specifically requested a quieter area as one of our company required a bit more breathing room, we were assured that we would be accommodated, but we were placed right next to the overcrowded bar. Thankfully we were able to be moved.Food was served quickly, but was for a lack of a better word - disgusting. We expressed our disappointment, especially with the starters:Firstly my “patè” honestly looked like piles of bird faeces and tasted like cold, watery slurry. No bread (apart from a coin sized filigree) was served with it until we requested it. After a single taste I left my plate. The main: The beef was lovely tasting but was mostly fat sadly, the parsnip was almost raw and sadly I couldn’t get through the Yorkshire pud as it was rock solid. Strangely the whole meal was also tepid at best. The drinks were very slow, though the bar was very busy, we understand. However, the waitress noticed and had to check twice if our single drinks order had arrived yet and had to chase them up.We expressed our disappointment, but we were only told that the “chef would be informed”. Nothing else was offered or any attempt given to rectify. We did not kick up a fuss further purely because we did not want to spoil the day more. One positive point was the waitresses who served us were excellent otherwise. Lovely manner and attentive.Shame about the kitchen staff and whoever approved this menu. We would be very interested for the manager to respond to us with their view.We were not the only customers unimpressed as we witnessed the table next to us walking out with their mains virtually untouched. (They did not wish to stay for dessert by the looks of it).

Very nice food and pub had a great atmosphere. Really liked the different areas of the pub which added to the lovely ambience. Alex and Anabelle were great waitresses too. Pretty Christmas lights everywhere which made it very festive! Will definitely return.Parking: Plenty of parking despite being busy. Nice and open spaces and overspill bit too. All free!
