Absolutely stunning meal! The new owners and the new chef, whom we met and he was lovely! We had a curry each and it was easily the nicest curry I’ve ever had. Served hot, full of flavour, the chicken was tender. It was a busy Friday night so we did need to wait for service, but stunning food!!

First visit and will definitely be returning. We went due to the Facebook reviews, so thought we’d give it a go.Great atmosphere.Fantastic service.Yummy food.We ummed and erred over what to have for quite sometime as everything on the menu look so delicious. My partner chose the King Prawn Chettinad Curry with Basmati rice and Garlic and Cheese Naan and I had the Porcini Mushroom Ravioli. Both were absolutely delicious and we were stuffed!Would highly recommend ?????Great to have found this gem of a pub ?????

The Black Horse is a cute little pub with a nice back garden. The food was partly good (the veg and potatoes good) while the beef was very dry and yorkshire pudding dry and tasteless no matter how much gravy you poured over the top of the Sunday lunch. The Guinness went really well with the food whereas the other ales that I tried didn't stand out. Another annoying thing was a manager of Indian descent scolding the waiters right in front of me trying to show them he is good at his job - it looked insecure and it was putting me off my lunch.

We were looking forward to trying the new Indian food at the Black Horse and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the staff were all welcoming and friendly. We even met the Chef, Rocky who came out to talk to us during our meal. This is our local pub and it's great that it has a new lease of life. We will be enjoying many more meals here.

Finally the Black Horse pub has been taken over and given a new lease of life! Andreea and her team have done a great job opening the pub under new ownership and transformed it into a lovely place to eat and drink. Also with an additional Indian curry menu to get stuck into what more could you want! There is now a really good variety of food and drinks to choose from as well as being very well priced compared to the other pubs in the area. Plus there is now seating in the bar area.

Recently changed ownership. The menus looked good with an amazing selection of curries on one side and a good selection of regular pub grub on the other side. The chips have to be the best chips ever! I had the lamb chops with were delicious and my friend had the curry sharing started which also looked fabulous. Hats of to the new owners and chef! Get yourself down there for a fabulous meal!

Really excellent place! Was pretty packed when we arrived but managed to get a table for two and the wait staff were running around like crazy to keep everyone taken care of. We got the lamb shank and butter chicken and both were delicious, as were our drinks. Highly recommend!

I went to the Black Horse with my sister for lunch. Everything was amazing and the staff were all so nice! The food was freshly prepared by the Chef Rocky and absolutely delicious. The prices are good. I wish it were near to where I live and if this is your local you are very lucky.

The Black Horse was our ‘go to’ venue for a drink and something to eat when in the Gatwick area. We visited upon our return from a holiday in Greece. Upon entering the Pub, the first thing I see is a notice saying ‘ Cash not accepted - cards only’. Next shock, the menu. Very restricted. Just a few options with fish and chips and burgers being the least costly at almost £17.00! We decide on fish and chips - pub grub. I go to the bar to order our meal. No fish and chips, no burgers. WTF! There’s no pub staples in a Pub? The remaining items on the menu are not to our taste and well beyond our means, anyway. We drink up and leave!

Be aware they only take cards. Which is why we won't be back. The service was acceptable if a little slow (not due to being busy, it wasn't) we only had chessie chips so it might be a little unfair to comment on it.

Popped in for a drink on a Sunday afternoon and the staff (particularly a lady named Donna) were not friendly at all. No smile or thank you for visiting. Just like they didn't care. Menu was very over priced so we decided to go elsewhere. Not a great experience and won't be returning.
