The most disgusting food served Ever . Both the pizza and Nachos were served in cardboard and polystyrene boxes despite us sitting in for lunch. Pizza was served half burnt and despite ordering Double Pepperoni I found one dried up piece of pepperoni on the Entire pizza. Nachos were absolutely disgusting. Crushed up Nachos,no cheese despite the menu saying otherwise. Whole lot covered in ice cold slop described as sour cream, guacamole and salsa. Utterly disgusting food and nobody available to complain to.Would Never recommend as a place to visit nor dine in.

Absolutely appalling place. Encouraged, what seemed to be a vulnerable older gentleman, to eat dog biscuits that the house provided on the bar.

Enjoyable Sunday dinner. Easy to book and then alter our booking as we were earlier than expected. Good sized dinner, all had the beef. Parsnips and sprouts touch harder than we like but that's a personal choice. Good selection of beers on tap plus alcohol free Guinness ?.All at good prices and service. Would recommend it.

Extreme expenses for what you get. £8 for a chicken burger which is probably from a frozen farm food burger and heated and put together. No sides of chips for that price! Better off going KFC!

Worst experience! We waited more than 40 minutes for 3 portions of chips, a garlic bread and 15 chicken wings. We were served in takeaway packaging, no cutlery, no plates. The food tasted awful, I usually eat whaterver but could not touch. The chicken 'wings' were battered pieces of chicken. The sweet potatoes fries were more like mash potato and then fried. The garlic bread tasted off. Just awful. It was £5/portion of fries and £12 for the chicken wings. The ladies serving did not look old enough to serve. Unless you are stopping just for a drink, this is not the right place.

I would like to change my review as I feel it was harsh so I apologise. Great night, friendly staff even brought out free sandwiches at the end of the night for everyone. On the pricey side but understand the current climate is hard. Please look at you value for money so you don't put off returning buisness. The place is a nice place to go, outside area is lovely. We are local so will come again just with hope feedback has been taken on board.

I have known this pub since the 80s, we held my parents 50th wedding anniversary party here. I received a friendly welcome from the girls on the bar. Had a couple more pints of London Pride, on pretty good form as us Camra members say. The roast lamb meal was generous with a good helping of gravy. I thought the carrots were tinned but I could be wrong. The chef asked if I enjoyed the meal and I certainly did. I get the impression the guys here are trying to build the business up and I think they will be successful.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I came in with an elderly lady. Staff were lovely, food was good, lovely mix of flavour, perfect for some home favourites, will be coming back again.

Driven past the pub many times before and as we drove past today kids said they was hungry, so pulled over jumped out ran in asked if they was serving food to be told “yep” and then handed a menu. On quick glance spotted plenty of options for the kids and partner, called the rest of the family in ordered are drinks at the bar passed the menu to my partner who couldn’t decide out of 3 options. Narrowed it down to the sausage and mash! I ordered the steak and kids had sausage meal and cheese burgers! Ordered food came out in reasonable time and tasted amazing! Spoke to the chef after and said to come back for the carvery! Definitely be returning soon! Staff so friendly and good atmosphere in side!

We have been coming to Hare & Hounds for over 10 years and, although we’ve enjoyed many afternoons, evenings and nights here, recently I have been so blown away by the friendly staff and brilliant customer service we receive that I need to give a positive review. Kirsty and Shannon are so attentive and really go the extra mile to make this family friendly pub the place it is. All of the team go out of their way to look after everyone that walks through the doors; they gave our dog a bowl of water when it was a hot day without us asking, this was so kind and so appreciated. A brilliant selection of drinks, a lovely well beer garden with table tennis, spotless and well maintained toilets, various options for seating, comfy quiet spaces aswell as high tables and chairs in the bar area. We love it and cannot thank your lovely team enough ?
