The Friday lunchtime special of haddock, chips and minted peas with homemade tartare sauce was wonderful. The hosts were friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed lunch. I shall be back!

I had a delicious steak burger with a lovely glass of red! Really good food with a great menu plus daily specials. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere and nice lighting too! Not too bright or too dark :) Highly recommend for lunch, dinner or drinks.

Visited with a couple of friends for a quick drink. The bar was filling up mainly with people eating. The choice of food sounded good and service seemed to be speedy. I will certainly return to eat next time.

Fresh tasty food, such a friendly warm team as well. We visited with a dog and we were allowed to sit indoors, doggie got spoilt with cuddles, a bowl of water and some treats.Great portions and really tasty!
1. Warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere.2. Walk-ins welcome. We just called in on the offchance for a drink late on a busy Sunday lunchtime, and it was no issue.3. The interior is bustling and busy. You should definitely book for food.4. Dogs and babies welcome - well, ours were....5. Whilst we didn't eat - the Sunday lunches being served looked fresh and fantastic.6. We'll recommend this bar to our local friends and we'll be back for food and more pints!

What a delightful place! 10 adults and my little grandson had a lovely lunch here yesterday. The pub is so warm and inviting, as are the really friendly staff. Very easy parking right outside for my brother who has MS and all level when inside. We had various things from the menu and they were all delicious, including a g/f pie.We are not local, we chose to come here as a good halfway point between Surrey and Hertfordshire. We have already decided to make this our new family get together pub. Thank you, and Happy New Year to all.
