Large table booking of 13 catered well for everyone food was lovely, service was quick, staff very friendly.After leaving we realised my daughters toy fairy had been left behind, when I called they couldn't have been more helpful finding it, management later followed with an email offering to post the fairy back home, so kind!Thank you

They very kindly put our booking back 30 minutes when I rang from the motorway to say we were held up.The staff are lovely as is the food. My husband would recommend his chicken, ham, and leek pie followed by treacle tart while I thought the haddock and chips were delicious.I think I would have preferred the apple crumble without figs because I was chewing seeds, so I'll choose the sticky toffee pudding next time. And there will be a next time. We travelled from the Midlands but make regular family trips.This place is a gem.

Service was very slow. Too few staff. Long periods when there were no servers in our restaurant area. All the food was lukewarm. The vegetarian casoulette was just a bowl of white beans with a tiny speck of butternut squash - the two vegetarians were very disappointed. The bill had drinks from another table attached to it to add insult to injury

Great food, great service, garden is a good size and huts are perfect in this winter weather, Lena was very polite and helpful, nothing was too much for her. The cauliflower soup is absolutely delicious me go too in this cold weather.
Sunday lunch was delicious and the servers were all really friendly and helpful! Always have a great time at The Swan.

Lovely venue great views but waiting 15 minutes for a beer and a coffee in an empty pub on a Sunday afternoon doesn't quantify the money spent. Table service needs work.
