“We were in the area working. Needed somewhere for some dinner and Google led us here. I ended up having several of the best pints of Guinness I’ve had in a while. It was well looked after and we’ll poured. Credit to the lad who poured it. Who also helped us out charging my phone and telling us some wonderfully inappropriate jokes. He was a good man. I had smoked brisket for dinner and it was very good indeed. Should I find myself in the area again. I won’t hesitate to visit again. Highly recommended. Great atmosphere, beer and food.”

“The food on offer was of high quality, I had fresh fish and prawn salad (2 combined starters) beautifully prepared) I think I had a fruit crumble and cream. The wine was exceptional, as well as the service. We weren't rushed, although we went a little over closing time. We will be back. Lovely staff.”
