Unwelcoming unfriendly cashier who always shuts the main shop at 9pm when he is on shift according to him. Obviously hates his job. Sub 5 male. 2200 on 30th November 2023 at Blaydon Shell petrol station.

Brand new pumps, small shop, no toilets, friendly staff.Being located on a very large & busy roundabout, great care is needed when entering & exiting.

Terrible petrol Station!Pulled up at 12:00am urgently needing fuel, tried fuelling my car and waited for the attendant to activate the pump, messed on for a bit wondering why it hadn't been activated thinking I'd accidentally put the diesel pump in.I could see two people wondering about inside with all the lights on and a man in his shell uniform, after messing on for about 5 minutes and waiting I decide to walk up and find out what's going on at night pay.I'm met by a lady who informs me she's a police officer who can't help me and that the shell worker is drunk! From the outside and seeing the shell worker stumble about I can see now that he is blind drunk!luckily a BP garage was not farI'm sure this is a one off incident but I shall not be returning as it caused me a great inconvenience.I hope the worker received the help he needed and the issue was resolved quickly however it's totally unacceptable!

Most expensive garage for quite a distance. Used to be great value. 10p more per litre than Morrisons or the garages in Crawcrook.

Pulled up to get fuel at 5.45pm and was closed. No fuel tanker , nothing... just all coned off.

I have just left this garage where my brother was attempting to fill his car with petrol. He was trying for 5 mins while watching the attendant mess on with a shelf. The attendant then shouted at us that the garage is closed. No explanation no apology. There were no closed signs, the lights were all on,the door was open and there was a car at the pump in the garage. The garage says 24hrs and the website says 24 hours but the rude member of staff just ignored us until it was clear he would have to say something and even then it was him shouting at us across the station. Terrible customer service.

I was very touched by the thought of giving key workers a free sandwich well done shell garage!
