We popped in for brunch, I'm vegetarian so opted for the halloumi hash. The big disappointment was finding 4 pieces of chorizo amongst the halloumi. Staff didn't seem bothered and said 'maybe it came off another plate?' - Yikes!! Maybe the chef got it wrong and tried to pick out the chorizo?!Not sure I'd trust the kitchen to not contaminate vegetarian dishes with meat now.

2 breakfasts 2 coffees £38 , minus the mushrooms but put me some black pudding on . After looking at the other photos i think I've been robbed , I couldn't eat the bacon or finish 1 super salty sausage they were cremated solid, im not coming back this place supposed to be great actually it looks great all other people's stuff looked great but check that out. Insulted just to be served it as it passed through 2 staff , they mustn't even look at it or just remain ignorant.

Myself and 3 friends have just had lunch from the Christmas menu and it was absolutely outstanding!!. Possibly one of the nicest Christmas meals I've ever had. Thank you so much.

First visit. Very tasty food, well presented and delicious. Staff can’t do enough for you (switched bread type etc) and are very friendly/efficient. Would highly recommend when visiting Low Fell. Thanks to all at Ellisons.

Booking is advised. Lovely place with friendly staff. Little gift shop too. Food is always delicious and service is as quick as can be expected when it's busy.Vegetarian options: Dishes can be adapted to make them vegetarianParking: It's a residential street so parking is limited but can be easier further up the road and walk back along
