Used this hotel for a stopover on long journey. Usually use a competitor but the price that Team Valley was quoting, for a Premier Plus room of only £53 for the evening we required, was nearly half of what we were going to pay at our usual stop off point. Great location just off the A1, but doesnt feel that you are a motorway hotel. Plenty of parking around hotel and also numerous options for takeaway food attached to hotel such as Greggs, Subway, Obriens. Hotel has good restaurant and there is also another just across street. Room was Premier Plus, and excellent for what we paid. Great to have a mini fridge and coffee pod machine - so rare in UK hotels. Will defo use again when travelling this way.

Had the best few nights sleep . There breakfast is always great here . The best scrambled egg and porridge I’ve had at any premier inn . All the lovely people that work here are friendly and consistent everytime we go . It’s nice seeing the same staff . Ricky in the restaurant is always really helpful. The lady we met when we checked in was a great help we asked if we could change are room up on to a higher level and she pulled out all the stops to change around rooms for us I didn’t catch her name but she was really friendly and helpful . We will be back again .

Perfect stay. Lovely staff - extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Clean and modern room, very comfortable bed and good lighting. Excellent food in restaurant both for dinner and breakfast - good choice especially for kids. Great value overall.

This is probably the best premier inn in the country. It feels more like a family run hotel. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. It is excellent value for money and made me feel like a respected customer

Owing to a family bereavement my wife and Ibneeded last minute accommodation. The staff were fantastic and realised our circumstances. We were treated with profesional care, understanding and dignity.

I checked in on Tuesday 4th for 1 night as I was going on holiday. Vicky was on the desk and she was so helpful and friendly. She booked us in for Dinner and breakfast to make it easier for our journey! I was then served by Kayleigh, Laura and Michael in the restaurant that evening and they were easy to talk to and catered to all of our needs. I could not have asked for a better stay. We will definitely returning.

Great for breakfast or lunch on the go. Can be very busy at times. However, the staff do an excellent job keeping queues to a minimum.

I stayed here with my husband and kids to break up our long drive. It was a comfortable room, although slightly hot as it didn't have aircon. Substancial onsite parking. The breakfast was delicious and the whole stay was very reasonably priced.i would definitely stay again.
We had a lovely stay at this premier inn. It is in a great location as we were going to a concert in Sunderland. The room was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed and I slept well. The staff were so helpful and the breakfast was yummy! Thank you!

What a breath of fresh air from a brand I love, the store is so clean and fresh, the staff are really polite, alot of tables which I love, if you love greggs as much as me it's deffinatly a store worth a visit, thank you Greggs teamvalley maingate kingsway.
