Our foodie expert Richard was super excited last night for our visit to Le Olive Verde. Chelsea, Nicola, Stephen, Shauna and Kerry popped along too for some scrummy Italian Cuisine. I've been here before so this was one of my suggestions ☺️ The food didn't disappoint tonight, we had plenty of good quality food with nice big portions. Some of us shared sharing platters for starters too, the pizzas and pasta was cooked to perfection, we also got to stand outside on the rooftop terrace to cool off which was especially good for me as my pizza was a bit spicy ? overall it was a really nice night with great food and great laughs... P.S. A hidden gem and well worth a visit. The food, potato skins with garlic dip for starters and rib-eye steak with mushrooms, onion rings, tomato, chunky chips and peppercorn sauce, was amazing and really cooked to perfection. All washed down with a couple of glasses of delicious house wine. The staff were outstanding and we’ll definitely return.

Always have a great meal here but they had a one off tasting menu this week which was absolutely delicious. Each course was creative and yummy & it all was presented beautifully. The service was attentive as always & Maddelenas daughter was fantastic giving us shiny cutlery every course & she is a born hostess. Please do more in the future.

We ate here last night as a family treat before going to the cinema. Initially got a drink from the bar where we were greeted by a lovely, polite, friendly woman. Then headed up to the hidden gem that is the restaurant. Absolutely gorgeous and decorated beautifully. The kids ate from the happy hour menu which was an absolute bargain! The portion sizes were huge and the food was described by them as “unreal”, potato skins, garlic mushrooms and gorgeous homemade pizzas. I had king prawns in garlic butter for starter which was divine and the biggest prawns I’ve seen!! Then I had one of the specials, marinated salmon in paprika spice sauce, absolutely out of this world! The salmon melted in my mouth, the sauce was delicious and the chunky chips were crispy and tasty! My dad had the Cajun pizza which was cooked to perfection. Being greedy I then had the tropical gin tiramisu which was like a small piece of heaven!! The kids had chocolate brownie and ice cream which again was also delicious!! Top marks to the chefs for the food and to Maddie for the dessert. The staff, both Gemma and Maddie could not do enough for me and the family. 5 star service from start to finish! Do not let this restaurant, amazing staff or delicious food pass you by! You will not be disappointed!!
Wow, what a find. Had lots of recommendations from friends for this place. We had booked here before but had to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control. We eventually got to go on “steak night” and it was exceptional. The smell as we went in was phenomenal and we can’t wait to try the Italian meals too. As it was, we split a garlic bread with cheese to start, which was delicious, but even so, if we’d known how much food was coming with the steak we’d have given it a miss as we left stuffed. A special mention to the staff who are fantastic. No messing around….. they’re just good at their job. Can’t wait to go back.

We visited the restaurant for a weekday birthday meal. The service couldn't be faulted, while we ate the restaurant started to fill up. And staff were very attentive. The food was good portion sizes and delicious. Prices reflect the quality of food.

My sister and I go here every Sunday for our lunch. The food is absolutely fabulous. Plenty of everything. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. They make us feel welcome every time we go. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Well worth a visit.
