Great to have this brilliant place in our neighbourhood. Had brunch with a friend last week and had one if the best brunch dishes ever. Haggis with mushrooms and duck egg on sourdough toast. It was fab. Friendly stylish place with spacious comfortable seating. Excellent service and efficient friendly service. What's not to like?

Hidden in plain sight.Spur of the moment visit…….what a great choice. Amazing food, didn’t want it to end. I’ve had scotch eggs many times but never as good as this, just amazing and the cheeseburger was equally as good.Sounds like simple dishes but don’t be put off by it. They would never disappoint.Parking: Plenty of paid parking nearby.One car park behind the restaurant and another over the road in a nearby street.

Went for Sunday lunch and was pretty poor. Veg was bland and under seasoned, pork and yorkshire pudding was burnt, not great

Really lovely Sunday lunch today. The pork was good, but if I had to be picky I wish the crackling was crispier as it was a bit rubbery so couldn’t eat it. Otherwise everything else was really good, great service, nice venue and loved the tunes. Definitely recommend.

Food was delicious, service excellent if you don’t mind a bit of a wait, atmosphere and surroundings very good. The only thing in terms of value for money, most dishes were slightly expensive for what you got and was shocked at the price of the steak, not helped by the lack of transparency as menu only showed ‘market price’ but certainly wouldn’t order that again. Expected it to be a bit higher than the other main courses (and they were quite pricey). The steak was nearly £30 more than those!) Although delicious I’ve never paid anywhere near that much for a steak.

We’ve actually visited several times now so thought it’s about time to review! Wonderful! From the location, decor, staff and the choice. We love it and I was a little dubious when they changed to the all day menu but it’s been great and the wine pairing suggestions are really good. Have popped in just for drinks and nibbles too and it’s always a warm welcoming atmosphere.

One of our favourite places to go locally and the food is always top notch. Had the chicken Kyiv and pan fried lamb rump from the newest menu and it was divine. Also think they serve one of the best Sunday lunches out there. Service is always friendly and personable, can't recommend enough.
