Lovely place to have a meal! Breakfast is always fully stocked and you get your moneys worth! The carvery is always lovely and so are the main meals would definitely recommend.We have been served by Diane a few times and each time she has been so helpful and just lovely.

Customer Service 5* (Jamie)Always good food with good portions, amazing value for money.I dont normally write reviews , but given my experience here today , I couldn't help but too.Me and my partner turned up, only to find the restaurant fully booked , so we decided since the weather let us , we would get a take out and eat outside. This part of the experience really was disappointing and couldn't help but feel negatively.As we were sitting outside we were immediately approached by Jamie (employee) , he made us feel great about the place again with his professionalism , kindness and initiative.I have NEVER in my life had someone so dynamic and responsive to me , and I walked away totally unable to feel negative.If it wasn't for this young man , it would have ruined my Sunday lunch. He deserves recognition for his service and in general his demeanour towards us.Although it is a small gesture, Jamie really left us feeling valued as customers and literally made our day which is why I couldn't help but leave this review!Thank you so much Jamie

I have been twice for breakfast with my Mam recently, and the standard of food and service is excellent. Our server both times, Deborah, was very friendly and helpful. We travel from West Gateshead specifically to come here. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Beef dry and chewy couldn't cut it snap it or eat it and the most measley slither of turkey half of it dropped on the counter. Comparable with another well known carvery standard meat portion size was skimpy. The veg selection was fine. Probably a better to go on a weekday when it's cheaper and a little earlier in the day before everything starts to skin over and dry up.Parking: Plenty parkingWheelchair accessibility: Mostly flat and accessible and a disabled toilet facility

On a Friday when the kids aren't home we like to have a little 'date night' but because we aren't very sociable we tend to just get food and bring it home to eat. No matter where we get the mains from we ALWAYS go to the valley farm for the dessert because not only are they very reasonably priced, but you get enough cake to share and still have decent portions each!! Tonight we've been in for a huge slice of cake each to enjoy while we watch saw 4! thank you Jake, we will be back soon!!

Lots of car parking spaces. Easy access for wheelchairs. Food is reasonably priced with a good carvery selection. There is cake or ice cream for dessert or to take home. Although it is a bit expensive and is not included with the meal. You can buy a drink to go with your meal. There's plenty of seating room inside and out. I would recommend you to book a table. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's no table service.

I've been coming here for about 5 years now since I moved into the area. I regularly take my dad out here and/or my 2 small children.....so I'm here about once a week at some point... The staff all recognise us now and have always been friendly and welcoming. DIANE has been great recently and even helped my partner with an escape 2 year old!!! The entire staff are amazing and look after us and can't recommend this place enough. Foods been great, never any complaints. Great family environment.

Staff have always been courteous and helpful, we are regular visitors. At lunch on this particular day, one of my two daughters required help in the toilets. While dealing with her, the younger (2 year old) made a bid for escape from the restaurant. Diane stopped her and led her back to our table as I was leaving the toilets. She was friendly and unbelievably helpful, my daughters trust her instinctively, and she was just fantastic. Very much appreciate the help she gave.

Arrived about 2.30ish as a walk-in table of 12 and we were accommodated no problem. Diane was very friendly and helpful in taking our order and bringing our drinks to us. Food was nice and quick, perfect stop for our journey further south. Kids area kept the wee ones busy too!
