I enjoyed the diverse food options at Buffet King in the Metro Centre. The flavors were fantastic, but I found the gluten-free choices limited, which could be improved for a more inclusive dining experience. The waiters were attentive.

My family were surprised to see a good choice of food at this restaurant because we were visiting Newcastle on holidays. It’s not like London but to be honest they were great to provide such good service and warm welcome. The food was good as well with quite a few variety to choose from. I liked their salad counter. I recommend this place for anyone visiting Newcastle. Reasonably priced as well. Thank you team Buffet King.

This place was absolutely magnificent the food was a magical place and £18 for a whole buffet (not including drink) was shocking. You get dessert included with a little dessert bar. The service was just as good as the food. The workers were respecting personal space while eating and drinking, and when you finished food they politely asked if you were done and if not you can fill up your plate with more. You get a free mint with your bill and they thank you as you are walking out. Amazing experience 100% recommend (! Cheap !)

This place used to be good because it was good value for money unfortunately now it has dramatically increased its price to just under £20 each then drinks so £80 for 2 adults and a child who were grabbing lunch while shopping. Unfortunately we won't be returning. The food was okay albeit a little dry which was okay when it was cheap but just disappointing now. If the prices return to buffet prices we may come back but there are far better places to eat for the same cost or less.

Went for lunch with the kids nearly walked away after hearing the £19 cost of the experience. I understand overheads and cost so i entered and what a mistake that was the food was horrendous. Sweet and sour sauce tasted like malt vinger. Vegetables where raw, The beef was boiled within an inch of its life tell the old guy in the back add some beed stock to the water. The fryed stuff was ok. The easy peel scampi was ok. The smell near the salad bar was disgusting must have never been cleaned for years got to open it up and clean inside. The disabled toliets had a lidless bin in there that stunk nearly brought little i ate back up. The front staff where very good. Attentive , Pleasant and overall very helpfull. Asking for a tip was very conflicting as the service was good but the wok food was disgusting someones dropped the ball in the kitchen the battered stuff is probably 3 days old . If i was not with my kids i would have demanded a refund. Was so bad had to leave a review hope they see this and resolve these issues.

Bad experience! found a bit of metal in my meal, did not cause a scene just pod and left. Chicken was like rubber and just in general the standard of food was really poor. At just over £20 for this and a drink it is definitely not worth it.

Not as good as it used to be food still okay but it all comes down to price per head £18.50 way to high won't be going back anytime soon tbf. The cheek of it all was when I paid a £71.00 bill one of the staff said do you want to leave a tip. Not likely...

I would have given it 0 stars if I could've. Dry, tepid food that someone came around and stirred now and then. We left after 10 minutes and basically payed £15 for some prawn crackers because the small amount of food that we did try was totally inedible and I was scared to try anything else. They then had the cheek to ask if we wanted to leave a tip. I suppose I could have chucked up in the tip bowl. It was really that bad. Avoid at all costs. It's not worth the risk. One wonder's what their hygiene rating is ?

Came yesterday, at 08:30pm, at £20 per person excluding drinks I expected a decent meal. Sadly, many of the dishes weren't replaced at this time, seemed only chips and chicken nuggets left along with a couple of other leftovers. Wont come back sadly, topped off by being asked to tip, this isnt the USA, tipping here is for a good meal and service, it isn't mandatory.

A nice lunch, the buffet gives the less adventurous (like me lol) a chance to try a small amount of different foods. Everything was hot, tasty and all areas were lovely and clean.

Grand buffet experience.Food as you expect for the price, being below averages. Some things extremely bad some things edible.Service was incredible, staff everywhere clearing up and refreshing food. Asking for a tip is cheeky though and the reason why I didn't tip.Atmosphere not relaxed felt rushed the whole time.Glad I tried but won't be back

Called in for an early lunch. Bit on the pricey side at 15.90 not including drinks, but it’s expected for a buffet. Service was ok, plates cleared very quick but when we asked for water we had to ask twice and still never received it, so we were left thirsty as didn’t want to pay an extra 6 pound for 2 small glasses of coke. Will return but hope they bring water when requested.
