I am home from Germany visiting my parents & our regular chippy is closed at the moment for a refurb, so we decided to try Dhillons for a change. The guy serving was very friendly & welcoming. The shop is clean & bright.We ordered 2 Haddock & chips and 1 Cod & chips. The food was cooked fresh and we didn't have to wait long at all. We even got a free big bottle of Fanta with our order.The portions are massive! I don't think I've ever had a bigger portion of both fish and chips in my life. Both were cooked so well and were very tasty. My photo does not do the food justice at all. Top marks all around! I definitely believe you are the new regular chip shop for our family. Well done! :)

I was passing by and, as my first time here, I have to say that their food is amazing, they are very helpful (they listen to all your needs). The staff is so kind and friendly, we even had a laugh together, such a beautiful experience.Definitely I’ll come back!?

We had heard New Owners and had improved.Worst I've ever had (I don't do reviews but needs to be voiced) onion rings cheap/frozen not homemade (nothing like the picture on Just Eat)... half chicken with soft slimey chicken skin, in the past from here it's crispy on the outside tender in the middle, delicious to eat, the chips were cold and undercooked, I had to get the air fryer out (never had to do this in the past)Pizza had crispy base but ingredients weren't good, tasted cheap (chicken and sweetcorn) cheesy chips..... the chips uncooked. We recieved the wrong pop. Alot of money for food that's just disappointing. Another lesson learnt, fake aways all the way.

This Chippy is under new owners and is massively better now. It is a family run business with mam doing the frying when I've been in. Everyone is very friendly.I'm being lazy this week, so I had a chicken Tikka wrap with salad last night and fish and chips tonight. Both were delicious!Everything is freshly prepared to order, so do expect a little wait (or ring in your order first). It is worth the wait! I much prefer this to food that has been kept in the warmer for hours.The portions are really generous, the chips are just right, and the fish is expertly battered. And the chicken Tikka is mouth watering - I was even allowed to try before I buy. I'm probably going to work my way through the menu. ?Definitely worth a visit if you're anywhere near or passing through.

World class fish and chips. It’s rare to find quality like this anymore. Portions are huge, fish and chips are wrapped separately (IYKYK). Proper chip shop chips, and the fish lightly battered to crispy perfection. It’s worth driving a little further for this place!
