I had the fish bites & they were huge. Very nice, been coming here for years & never let you down. The chips are always lovely & not greasy.Vegetarian options: Just noticed they did have vegetarian options. But haven't actually tried any.

The Best Fish n Chips ever! I’ve been eating here for 25 years and always been the best, I’m originally from South Shields so I’m a good judge when it comes to eating fish n chips, 10 stars!

Just had a lunchtime "special" A kebab with chips. I didn't realise they actually put the chips in the pitta bread and then covered the whole thing in sauce, wrapped in a paper bag so that it drips everywhere. It came already wrapped so I didn't see it before I left. I think this might be to avoid complaints. I did ask for salt n vingear on my chips before leaving but as it was wrapped i just said not to bother . It looked disgusting when I unwrapped it. Doner meat - very fatty and lots of gristle Chips - tasteless and only ate 2 but there wasn't many anyway Garlic sauce - not like any I've ever had before or ever want to try again Cost - £3.99: some might enjoy but no for me.

Sorry but the food is not as nice as it used to be I travel from gateshead for years to this fish shop but last few times it’s been awful so not sure if new owners or what but no longer will I be using it shame

Fantastic food after putting in a huge food order for my dance studio. 21 fish, 26 chips, 9 pies, sausages and curry's, it all arrived red hot perfectly cooked and big potion sizes, everyone enjoyed it ?
