I was surprised to see how busy the restaurant was on a Monday night but as I had read good reviews about it, I shouldn't have been. We had a special menu which was good value and each course delicious. I'll try something from the main menu next time as the choice was huge.

Our party of four had a wide variety of dishes from the Prix Fixe menu. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered.The service was helpful and attentive, prompt and courteous. No request was too much trouble. If we lived in Newcastle, this would be a regular destination.Parking: The parking lot is a bit unusual in that it is irregularly shaped and on a slope. We were there on a weeknight and there was quite a bit of space. It would benefit from better lighting.

02/03/2024Just to say the friendly and courteous service from all of the Jashn staff was first class. They helped my 87 year old partially sighted mother to her seat and the prompt attention thereafter was brilliant. The food was excellent and I cannot understand any negativity towards this top class cuisine and all round customer service. Well done and best wishes to the lovely staff for a great meal.

food good, ordered king pra but got 5 , tasty. restaurant very cold, ate in my coat, and felt £43 for Diet Coke , popadoms and starter and main a little expensive

We had just arrived from Leicester and was looking For something to eat ,we didn’t have time to book anywhere,as we didn’t know the area ,so we checked out trip advisor,well we scored with this gem of a place .we walked in and asked for a table unfortunately the manager said they were fully booked and then within 2 minutes he came back to us and said il look after you ,this in its self was top service ,and as we sat down to eat it was a fantastic Menu and staff were extremely polite and the manager was very accommodating as he explained what was involved in our dishes we chose.the presentation of the food was as good fine dining and you could not beat the freshness,the wait for our meals was totally worth it and would recommend a visit here by any one of visiting the area ,thanks for a great experience

Ordered for collection at 5.30. Was told would be ready for collection at 6.30 latest. Food turned up at 7.45 so an hour and a quarter of my life wasted in the restaurant twiddling my thumbs. When I got it, It was just warm (so had to reheat the lot) and missing an item. If I’d know it would be so long I wouldn’t have bothered and due to the wait, my youngest, had to have an alternative without the family. So much for getting a takeaway to have a relaxed and carefree evening. Very disappointed with the whole lot. Food wasn’t even that good and just generally bland or sweet with tough meat. Naan bread was tiny, hardly any flavour and tough like cardboard. Clearly the place has gone downhill. No recommendations from me.
