DisappointingOrdered the salmon which was overcooked and dry as a bone.I have allergies and was told that every single one of the sauces was therefore unavailable to me. When I asked them if they could whip up a quick allergy free bearnaise (or something) I was told no, that all sauces are pre-prepared and just heated up in the restaurant.Wine was a good choice, but the markup was over 4x the online price of £4.98.Finally the waiter talked at me at high speed, even after I explained that I was deaf in one ear. He didnt slow down or think to move to the side of my working ear. Consequently when my food arrived, my allergen issue hadn't been understood and all the vegetables were stuff I couldn't eat. At this point I was so tired of it all that I just shut up and ate my overcooked salmon out of sheer hunger.If you have the budget to eat steak at these prices I would suggest porterhouse in Fenwick's as a higher quality similarly priced alternative.

Friendly staff, lovely food. Only negative I could say was music was far too loud. For 12pm on a Monday lunchtime I felt like I was in a noisy pub! Not a relaxed restaurant. Laura was great once we mentioned it and turned the volume down.

Can only say an absolutely fabulous experience dining in Miller and Carter Newcastle upon Tyne.Welcomed by Mr Tony Arnold manager who kindly explained about the refurbishment work,and made our party very welcome, a kind gesture I thought.Staff very knowledgeable and friendly, food and drink out of this world.Very nice atmosphere and will definitely be back again.Best wishes to Mr Arnold and his wonderful staff for a successful future.

We ate here last night. We had the Cote de Boeuf experience. The steak was seriously good. Melt in mouth texture. It came with some really good sides and a nice bottle of Malbec. I would definitely recommend the dish.Ella was our server. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and gave us good advice about our order. She was very friendly and made our evening even more enjoyable. She is a credit to your business and we look forward to returning.
