Underwhelming experience. I had hot brownie and ice cream, which was nice, but there was very little selection of ice cream flavours. Also, I thought the location was large as it's called an 'Ice Cream Emporium'

Fantastic family run business. Coffee is great, ice creams are always amazing, service is friendly and warm and the brownies are incredible. Very lucky to have this place in the neighbourhood!

Love this place and so glad it’s managed to survive during a difficult period for small businesses.Lots of selection, well maintained and friendly staff each time we’ve been. Mimi's is our go to for a treat, the kids love it and the ice never disappoints. If you live local or are passing by on the A1 it's well worth the diversion.Kid-friendliness: The staff are always friendly and willing to help if needed, the shop is usually quite quiet and kid friendly (it's easy to clean after they make a mess) plus the toilet is right on hand meaning easy to wash sticky hands afterwards.

Amazing ice cream, up there with the very best. I had the caramel flavour, which was truly outstanding! A lot of time, effort, know how and love must go into these products, and it shows. If you’re in the area, treat yourself to a visit, you won’t be disappointed

I go to Mimis most nights with my son. He is autistic and this is the one place I can guarantee to make him happy. I myself am gluten free and dairy free and they also cater for me too. The vegan icecreams are to die for. Grapefruit is my favourite in a gluten free cone. Great staff. Love the loyalty scheme and often get a free cup of coffee :)

We always visit Mimi's on Christmas eve since they opened. If I remember correctly they hadn't really intended on opening on Christmas eve back then (2017?) but it was a great thing for me when I was on my own with my children that year!It's become something of a tradition since then, and pandemic aside, we've always come in on Christmas eve (as well as through the year!)The ice cream is delicious (I love the blood orange one and also the pistachio)It's reasonably priced with plenty of choice and friendly staff.I'll always recommend Mimi's, it's a lovely little place with something for everyone.
