We lunch/have coffee at this place at least once a week. Quality of food has always been superb. Extremely friendly staff, particularly at Milkhope, unmatched in our opinion. 5-start is truly meant here!Parking: Easy to park

Just like having the best of mums cooking without having to do the washing up or listen to dad farting.Vegetarian options: Well made and thought out.

Many years since I was last here, the food was excellent, service at ordering and table delivery very quick and friendly, on a very busy day.

A really nice and busy venue for a coffee and food. Cheese scone very nice indeed and bacon sandwich really tasty too. 2nd cup of filter coffee free. Staff really helpful and polite. Also good base to check out the Adjoinig shops. Free parking too.

Although a long wait at lunchtime which was understandable. The food was great and reasonably priced. Very popular place.

We have visited Milkhope for many years, usually meeting friends for morning coffee and scones, and we have always been very satisfied. The staff are always very pleasant, however we always find the noise level too high which means you have difficulty in carrying on a conversation. Today we called in for lunch. The place was heaving and as a result the noise levels were even higher than they are when we are there for morning coffee. I think if the management gave a little thought to reducing the noise it would make it a much more pleasant experience. The problem is it is all hard surfaces with nothing soft to absorb the noise. Maybe curtains or wall hangings might improve the ambience.

Fab scones, and free coffee refills. Lovely food but a very busy cafe. Would recommend a visit.

Been going there for years. What has happened to the bread, it was not fresh with my soup. My friends gluten free bread was awful. It fell apart straight away and was also not fresh. This is a lovely coffee shop but needs to improve the quality of its ? bread?

Overall we had a nice experience here although there’s so much they could improve on to make this even better. There’s no menus on the tables so we had no idea what food was on offer. A pretty simple thing to expect from a cafe! We loved the stollen scones which were delicious! Also the filter coffee refill was great.
