First time visit and not disappointed. Had Sunday lunch - chicken dinner with all the trimmings. Good portions of homemade grub including lovely yorkshire pudding and gravy. Really nice staff, friendly and welcoming. We will return!

Popped in for a drink in front of the cosy fire but couldn't resist ordering a meal on seeing how good the food appeared from others eating here. We both had the double bacon and cheese burger which was delicious. Came with a side salad, battered onion rings and healthy portion of fries which we struggled to finish. Excellent food and service.....we will be back soon!!

Appalling! Half the menu was unavailable, the menu we did order was only half filled because they had no stock. They shouldn't have taken the booking. Almost £100 for half of what we ordered, charged full .price when half the dishes were missing. Utterly disgusting. My sister's bday was a wash out!

Nothing better than home cooked food...I had breast of chicken hand made chips peas and peppercorn sauce, it was delicious ? ?. All too often when you eat out these days you'll find that the food is usually frozen or pre made. I was pleasantly surprised with this quality of food and very reasonable priced too. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.
