Possibly the best micro pub in the area including those in Newcastle and Gateshead. Just liked the look of the place, Good atmosphere. Especially liked it had mainstream beers for those who don’t want keg. Fair prices. To top it all loved the branded glasses that even the staff agreed would look good in Lancashire.

Great venue. Very reasonably priced (£3.80 for a locally brewed beer, £5.50ish for a brand) and lovely atmosphere. I'll be there more

Really like this place. I always visit mid week when it's not crazy busy. Nice friendly bar and also dog friendly which is great.
