Alright pub, smart, clean, friendly staff. However, having spent 5.5hrs on a train from the south we made a beeline to the nearest boozer opposite the station. Ordered other drinks but came to mine, NBA and found out it's likely to be the only pub in town that doesn't sell it. Oh well

We had lunch here this week, nice pint especially the Stout, the lunch itself was OK, not bad enough to give back but lacking in seasoning and a bit expensive for what we got, really small portions. Lady at the bar was nice and the service was quick, the ladies toilets smelt though, i didn't see anyone on the way out to mention this too. Handy for the station.

A lovely venue. Used it for an event this evening. Great service from Becks & Jack upstairs who went over and above. I’ve used the Victoria Comet for a few different charity events in the past. The upstairs is perfect and it’s in a central location in town too.
