I personally enjoyed this nice cozy venue and so did the company I was in. Slightly more expensive food than other coffee shops but very enjoyable nonetheless ? will return ?

Delicious lite bite before the theatrePitta bread pizza chicken , pepperoni , peppers & onions very tasty.Not a great amount gluten free but the service was great and the environment establishment 5* served hot and cold drinks. It's in one of the quiet streets not far from tsb Bank but near enough to winter gardens , Sunderland festival of light and mowbray park. Just got a picture of the food not the drink I had.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free cheese didn't have that option for the cheese but pitta bread pizza was very tasty so be open and ask and they will say what you can and can't have

I've been eyeing this cafe for a whileeee now...Finally had time to go in and it was amazing.I'm not sure if I had gone right before closing time or something, though.The staff there seemed to be great friends, talking and laughing which really shows that they enjoy being there and it was really fun to see.I ordered an oat milk vanilla latte and it was one of the best lattes I've had. The barista made it perfectly to drinking temperature, so I was able to immediately drink it instead of having to wait 20 or so minutes for it to cool down before scorching my mouth for the next few days.
Visited with my Brother for lunch today. Was sadly very disappointed. Felt very uncomfortable and unwanted. For the whole time we were there. I guess our faces didn't fit or we weren't their class or weren't regulars. My Brother who is Autistic was very upset at the attitude we were met with. Staff stared at us as if we were about to rob the place, this staring continued the whole time. I noted other customers were given a lot better service. I would say unless you look young, trendy or with the 'it' crowd don't bother plenty of other places.The card machine is problematic so use cash.The food and coffee is nice. Toilets are clean. Unfortunately we were there just after Midday and were running out of things.Because of the staffs attitude and being constantly watched, I would not recommend and we will not return.

My friend and i have been coming here for a while now for our monthly get togethers...its a lovely little cafe, the coffee and food are delicious and the staff very helpful, happy and welcoming. Theres no other place i'd rather go!!Dietary restrictions: I am a vegan and as such they were able to supplement oat milk for me instead of dairy milk which is always a plus!
